“As I stepped into Queen Sheba, I was immediately engulfed in the rich aromas of Ethiopian spices and the warmth of its vibrant ambiance. Each corner of the restaurant spoke of tradition and culture, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary experience. The menu, a masterpiece of Ethiopian cuisine, offered an array of tantalizing dishes! But what truly made this dining experience exceptional was the owner's passionate dedication to their craft. Deeply rooted in his culture, with a deep knowledge of Ethiopian cuisine, he guided us through the menu with enthusiasm and insight, stopping to chat with us and sharing stories. His accommodating nature ensured that every dish was tailored to our preferences, making me feel truly welcomed and valued as a guest. In every bite, I could taste the love and expertise that went into creating each dish. It was more than just a meal; it was a journey through culture and tradition, leaving me with a heart full of warmth and a newfound appreciation for Ethiopian cuisine. Absolutely loved coming here with my family, can’t wait to come back!“
“Go for the food, not the quick service. The food is amazing! If you are unfamiliar, imagine eating communally from a shared plate ...all the dishes together on a soft, spongy bread (similar to a Mysore dosa). Figure thirty bucks each.Go with three good friends, expect to be there for a couple hours, and for some reason there is no mobile tower coverage there. WORTH IT“
“Likely holds the crown for best Ethiopian restaurant in Montreal. Spectacularly decorated space with a well-formatted menu. Service was also superb. Food was utterly delicious. Flawlessly clean washrooms. Very well executed restaurant on all fronts.“
