Frite Alors ! - Rachel is a cute little spot serving fries, burgers, and poutine. The food is really good; the classic poutine and the Montréalaise are both good. The fries aren't salty and the gravy isn't too heavy. The portions are great, and the regular poutine satisfied three people. The Montrealer, a traditional poutine with smoked meat and pickles, is so tasty. The best poutine in town, without the touristy lines from other places. They have a nice small selection of local craft beers, too. The place has a retro vibe, is clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is right beside a small park, perfect for enjoying the meal outside in summer. However, the food is a bit overpriced for the quality, and they use beef fat in frying oil so Hindus and vegans should proceed with caution.
