But it is, by far, the best butter chicken (I'm drooling), with real tasty tandoori chicken, a complex sauce (not something powdered), the hot naan breads straight out of the oven, phew, the curry, spinach dish, everything, everything, everything is good!

“I got my order delivered and the food was excellent! I ordered a butter chicken and a paneer makhani with their naan breads, everything was to die for. Just spicy enough, full of flavor and light. I also had chicken wings, I think they were a little undercooked because the meat did not come off the bone easily but in terms of flavor, nothing to say. Plus a nice little note on my bag, what to do for my evening. I recommend you again for sure!!“

“The food here was delicious and comforting. I was told everything is prepared in house and it shows. The naan bread was crispy and soft, and the dishes were custom made to our level of spice tolerance. We ordered the Pani Puri to start, then the lamb korma (sweet) and the chicken tikka masala (spicy) with a stuffed paneer naan and it was the perfect balance of alternating between sweet and spicy. The service was very calm and helpful, and they dim the lights at dinnertime. Quality food. I'd love to go back to try more.“

“Awesome experience. I had the vegetarian thali which consisted of malai kofta, chhole, daal makhani, rice, naan, salad. It was delicious. My hubby and girls had butter chicken thali. The flavours were incredible and cooked to perfection! The service was amazing. Warm, friendly and kind staff. Loved the ambiance😍“

“This place truly takes the win for the best, most authentic Indian food in Montréal. I have been looking for a place like this for a long time, luckily enough my many indian friends recommended me this place. Don't get me wrong this is a hole in a wall restaurant totalling 12 chairs and 3 tables. The decor and amenities are barely holding up but if it's what it takes to get some real Indian food then so be it.
The chicken tikka was absolutely delightful, the chicken madrasi was melting in my mouth. I think they truly marinate their meats for a long time, not sure though. Oh and its cheaper than most Indian restaurants today..“

Every experience with this establishment has been excellent, delicious and without a flaw. I have brought friends and family when they come to visit from out of town and everyone has always been very pleased with the dinning experience. Some have been vegetarian like me, and we there is an excellent selection for various types of the diets. The staff have been courteous, knowledgeable, and very efficient whether in person or on the phone. The very nice lady who delivers my orders has been especially kind and gone out of her way to be as helpful as possible every time. “Although I have had samosas and sweets from Krishna's many times over the years, my first actual visit to their store was two weeks ago. In advance, I ordered 200 samosas for a funeral. They served them to me fresh out of the fryer. I was given almost too much delicious sweet tamarind chutney. The samosas, as always, were perfect. Karan also gave me some serving trays, which I did not think to bring for serving them at the funeral reception.

I appreciate their kind service and wonderful food. Do not hesitate to order from them. I look forward to visiting them again soon for a box of sweets, pakoras, and more samosas!“

“This restaurant makes traditional Indian and Pakistani dishes that are ridiculously good. The cook is some sort of culinary genius. It’s like a parade of delicate flavours dancing through your mouth with every bite. I’ve gone a few times in the last couple of months, and my dinner partners have been equally wowed. The waitstaff are lovely too. My favourite dish is the Palak Paneer! I'm happy I found them.“

The only problem is that no one can serve us in French, only English.
But the staff is very nice.
For ambiance, white light is too strong. They only had to light the glass plates on the wall, which are pretty by the way.

I have celebrated EVERY major milestone, minor milestone and minor inconvenience in my life (since moving to Montreal 4 years ago) with the thali combo and samosa from Bombay Express on St Lau. I do not know any place that offers such incredible value for money, while producing such delicious food. I have tried every single Indian food place in the Plateau and have not found one I like more. I have recommended it to ALL of my friends and they are regular customers now as well.
