“Hey there, This is your sign to definitely pass by here and grab something to eat! First time buying chicken biryani, not only the prices are unbelievably cheap the quality of the food you get is insane. This was one of the juiciest and best biryanis I’ve ever had. I have so much respect for this place now and definitely gonna go back at least once every week!“

“Best Halal Food in Montreal, one of best taste for halal butter chicken not to much spicy. Taste good with garlic naan. Best way to order just order butter chicken once it arrive then order naan as separate. Then you’ll also get white rice 🍚 they come free otherwise it quite expensive.
Customer service is not very top notch.“

“Montréal’s Hidden Indian Gem
You’ve probably walked right past it — most people do. It’s tucked underground, staring directly at a metro entrance, with zero flash and barely any ambience. But let me tell you… this place is legendary.
I’ve had butter chicken in multiple cities — from fancy downtown spots to beloved hole-in-the-walls — but nothing has touched the one I had here. Oh mama. Creamy, rich, perfectly spiced, with that subtle smoky depth that too many places just miss. Every bite hit like a warm uppercut of comfort food glory.
And then the kicker: student prices. Real, honest, no-gimmick student pricing. It’s connected to a university metro stop, so it’s clearly made for the campus crowd. But don’t let that fool you — the quality punches way above the price tag.
This isn’t some candlelit date-night spot. It’s plastic trays, fast turnover, and minimal decor. But the food? The food is worth making a detour for. Even if you’re just visiting Montréal — especially if you are — give this place a shot.
Because once you taste that butter chicken, you’re gonna remember it.“

“Visited Chai Paratha over last weekend after hearing about food taste here from a couple of friend so i literally drove from CT-USA to Montreal to take stop for food and it was surely worth it.
Ordered anda paratha, aaloo paratha and saag. If you are from Pakistan and know the authenticity of taste of Punjab (lahore), you will surely enjoy the food. Food taste was nostalgic.
Above all the owner (aunty) was super nice. Had a quick talk to her and she was super nice and sweet and even helped me find Pakistani mangoes in Montreal since I was visiting only for a few hours and wanted to quickly buy mangoes.
If i ever end up going to montreal, this is surely going to be my place to stop by for food.“
