Great service! We went a little late and it was past the time to order from the full menu. The waiter quickly let us know but helped us pick new dishes out from the after hours menu. We started with a beautiful cheese and wine pairing and then the kitchen sent over a appetizer on the house! My friend and I shared a delightful steak (it was a bit over cooked to be honest). How is this place not ranked in the top 10??? The food was incredible. The service was excellent; very friendly and funny. I had the squash soup, which was oh so much more than soup, and the scallops, which had 100 beautiful, subtle flavors. The amuse bouches were delicious as well.

We had a memorable meal at XO Le Restaurant when we visited Montreal. The decor and service were top notch, which was to be expected for the range of pricing though ambiance was a bit too formal for our liking.My plate of foie gras was well plated, but what stole the show was the sea bass which was pan seared to perfection. Even years since we had this meal, we still reminisce about that pan seared fish!
