“I've been a customer since they had opened and it was always amazing, I haven't been since covid, randomly walked in yesterday and was amazed that the prices are the same, the size and quality of the sandwiches are exactly the same and that everything is just perfect. I took the classic with the classic sauce, peperette and Stewart's root beer. Had amazing service with a smile, everything prepared exactly like I wanted, I was excited like a kid to get home and destroy it. I am so happy. So many businesses (95%) went downhill in shrinking everything and charging DOUBLE. Dagwoods did not drop.“

“The food here is incredible!! the sandwich we got the bread was nice and warm the meat was delicious and i got strawberry boba that felt like it was made with real strawberries! The only i would recommend is for the owner to restock on other boba flavours since most of them weren’t available.“

“I finally got the chance to try this place. Really nice atmosphere, resembles a take on a bodega except with Egyptian street food available. I got the chicken shawarma sandwich, which was staggeringly more pricy than any other shawarma pita I've had. This one was of pretty great quality, but it was also on the smaller side. For nearly $20 on it's own I wasn't really satisfied. The service by the bald guy behind the counter was fantastic, however. The place had a nice vibe to it, I probably would have been happier ordering a bowl.“

“I arrived early on a Tuesday morning to pick up some lunch to-go. The cafe was empty and I was helped immediately. I ordered the ham & cheese croissant and a hot tea for under $10. Then I unwrapped the sandwich for lunch I was surprised it was pressed but it was a nice touch. The tomato and lettuce on the sandwich seemed a bit on the short side but the croissant was delicious and there was a decent about of ham and cheese. All in all a very good value for the price. I would definitely stop by this establishment again.“

“I’ve been a regular customer at this Subway, and I’ve always had a great experience. The employees are always respectful, the bread and toppings are fresh, and it’s the best Subway in my area.

They even give me extra cucumbers on the side for my kid whenever I ask, which I really appreciate.

I’m posting this review because I noticed a couple of recent negative reviews. While I was in the store, I saw two customers arguing with the employees, demanding extra toppings even though their sandwiches were already well loaded. From what I observed, the staff remained professional, and I don’t think those reviews reflect the service I’ve consistently received.

“Tastes what Subway is supposed to taste like. The bread was fresh but tasteless, and there was little choice compared to before (I imagine this is to limit losses $$/waste?). The toppings were really fresh and appetizing. I took the "Combined cold meats" and there was less meat than before, so I was left hungry.This particular branch is clean and bright. The staff was super nice, smiling, courteous. I've seen reviews saying that they don't speak French, but I was served in French without any problem.

“I recently visited Subway and was served by Justin, and I just wanted to say he did an amazing job. He was friendly, patient, and made sure my order was exactly how I wanted it. Even though it was a bit busy, he stayed calm and kept a positive attitude the whole time. He treated customers with respect and kindness. It made the whole experience much better. “Hands down, this is the best Subway restaurant I’ve ever visited. I go to Subway almost once a week because my son has gluten allergies, and this location absolutely stands out. They had gluten-free bread available on-site, and the staff was so helpful when I called ahead. The service was impeccable, everything was incredibly clean (including the washrooms), and the owner-manager clearly takes pride in keeping the place spotless. “This is not exactly an authentic Banh Mi, but nor do I care. It's like 75% Banh Mi, 25% North American sub. The result is fantastic as the sandwich is much wider than most Banh Mi, packed with crisp veggies and a decent layer of flavourful meat. It's a truly filling Banh Mi that mostly justifies the price. I love eating at Le Central, I enjoy the casual seating options and just how quickly you can stop by for a quality meal.“

“I have always wanted to try this place and finally had an opportunity to go in and ordered Irresistible Sandwich. It was a taste bud delight. The meat was grilled to perfection and the sandwich was perfectly smothered in all sorts of tastes from the sauce, vegetables and marinade. The price for 2026 was quite reasonable and the trio gave you a healthy portion of french fries. The only thing I would say was that there was a funky smell in the restaurant the whole time I was there. I do not know if that was a function of Cote Des Neiges Street having a garbage day or just a general miasma in the Downtown and surrounding area of that core. But when it comes to the food, it was filling, tasty, and a good portion size. If you need a quick takeout delight and you are in the Cote Des Neiges and Lacombe area, go here.“

“This is overall a really solid subway shop that slices their meat deliciously thin and pretty consitently gets a good ratio of sauce and veggies going. The one downside is have with it is I find they give less meat than other subways ive tried. Its still very good, I just wish they would put one or two more deli slices on my sub. I guess it really depends on what you want/ what sub you get. Overall a good experience 👍“
