“This is the perfect Greek restaurant experience. Extremely friendly staff who will not only take care of you, but will stop and have a laugh with you. The food was great! Everything tastes bright. Even the fried food wasn't heavy and greasy. Great Saturday date night.“

“Went to Village Grec during the weekend. Haven't had a Pita Doner for ages as I used to go to the one on Jean-Talon in Parc-Extension. It was during the afternoon on a Sunday, quiet place where you can eat in peace without too much noisy crowd. Good service by the ladies of the house. Faire enough price as they have a lunch menu that spans between 11h and 15h everyday, even during the weekend. I had the Pita Doner plate, with greek potatoes, rice and greek salad, it was as great as i remebered it. 👍 next time i'll take their fried calamaris, I recall they were awesome.“

“After many enjoyable dinners at this West Island Restaurant (Philinos) we highly recommend treating yourself to the best authentic Greek flavours, atmosphere and excellent service. From the cold and hot appetizers, soups and salads to the chicken, pork, lamb and seafood, all arrive at your table fresh and cooked to perfection. Having enjoyed their delectable specialties such as "The Mediterranean Platter for Two" and the option of bringing your own wine exceed all expectations for excellence. It started out bad because I had made a reservation, and once there they didn’t have my name on their list, we waited 25 minutes and luckily got a table.
Our server Fred was fabulous, very attentive, and came to check on us regularly to make sure we were happy.
We had escargot, spanakota, souvlaki, chicken brochette, and dessert, the food was excellent, and the plates were larger than another Vieux Duluth that I have been to, the tables are also less crammed then the other location I have been to, which made the experience exceptional!

“Atmosphere was average, the service is lacking my but the food is good. The food was fresh and flavorful. The calamari was on point, along with the cheese sticks. The mains were well plated but the rice wasn't very good. I would suggest a different option, their house salad dressing was light and tasty. That's a good option. The food is very food.“

“My family and I went Christmas eve..Like we do every year. Or should i say like we did because this is my last visit. THe witer was so slow to even intially take our order i thought give them a break because maybe a little busy actualy no this waiter was jsut not attentive to his tabes ... we waited quite but then when we need something else like a softdrink or anything we had to wave one of the busboys down to get them to help .It didnt just stop ther even We never even got asked if we wated desert ..Shame“
“Excellent food, prepared on the spot, ample portions, friendly unique staff. The tzatziki is to die for. The atmosphere (over which Kouzina has NO control) could be better, but the food and the staff make up for it. Indeed, it is a hidden gem, hiding in a mundane run-of-the-mill older shopping centre but it's worth it. Try them out! You have nothing to lose but your appetite.“

“Wonderful experience! Au Vieux Duluth in Ste-Eustache is our favourite restaurant for all the right reasons. Great service always and our plates are so delicious! So affordable too-bring your own wine. Place is big and roomy with parking in the front and back of restaurant. I recommend the Calamari, chicken brochette plate and brownie with ice cream“
