“The food is always good. They have lots of vegan options and the coffee is one of the best around. Nice atmosphere and wonderful service. Just ask what is vegan as some items contain dairy and they add meat into their menu. This restaurant is no longer vegetarian but there is something for everyone there. It was so fresh and flavourful we were amazed how well the seabass, octopus, giant shrimp and cod were cooked to perfection and served with a smile to make sure we had properly transferred the food from plater to dish. We highly recommend Petros, we were super impressed with the quality, quantity and great service. Our go to place to dine.“

The quality of everything that is presented here (the attention to detail in the decor, the atmosphere, the service, the creativity of the platings and recipes, the deliciousness of every dish, the many options available, the quantity of each portion and so much more) is incredibly high. After a disappointing meal at another Old Port restaurant that cost three times as much for tiny portions and mediocre food, this place completely saved our night.

The chicken and pork gyro pita stood especially for value, the Calamari were solid, however the Greek potatoes, Kopanisti, Tzatziki and Horiatiki left a lot to be desired flavor and authenticity-wise.“

It looks so ordinary, a gyro, fries, rice and a little salad like you can get all over town. But the little salad had a generous chunk of feta and was just very very crisp and cold and fresh. The fries were hot and fresh and had a tasty seasoning. The rice was fresh and had a tasty seasoning as well. The gyro was a nice size portion and the bread was like a soft warm pillow. It’s not often these days that you find a Deli that is this authentic and community focused. They held an event the following week which I had the pleasure of going to with my husband. Elvis was in the house and the restaurant was packed. The food was very good and the entertainment was even better. The feeling of family was very felt and the special attention given to each customer was heart warming. The experience brought me back 40 years to when I use to go to Deli’s with my parents.
