I never write public reviews, but someone has to defend this place from the recent nonsense 1-star reviews. Villa is a neighborhood institution. They've been serving up consistently amazing food for 30 years. I dream of their souvlaki (I no longer live in Montreal). Ignore the recent reviews from pretentious wanna-be food critics--they either simply lack good taste, or are being needlessly contrarian. This place is amazing. Full stop.
