“La Diperie in Pointe-Claire is the favourite ice cream spot for my wife and I. We love the choices of dips and coatings and the ice cream is of an excellent quality. BUT I did not give full stars for service because for some reason the opening hours are often not respected. On multiple occasions when the shop is posted as being open we are majorly disappointed when we arrive and the doors are locked. The latest time was this past Saturday in mid afternoon, probably the last beautiful summery weather day on a weekend for 2024...and it was closed up tight! So we went down the street and made do with another ice cream shop. The word of advice if you don't want to be disappointed is to call ahead, don't believe what you see posted on Google for the 'open' status, it's often not correct.
UPDATE: The response from the La Diperie Team was also disappointing, they completely ignored the complaint about not respecting their opening hours. Am I to presume no effort will be made to correct this pattern?“

“Actual gelato in Laval, hard to believe I know. I was finally able to find good pistachio ice cream in here as well. So far I’ve tasted their classic pistachio and their tiramisu flavours and they were both excellent. Looking forward to going back one day!
They also have flavours for people with allergies and dietary restrictions. Went with my grandma who doesn’t consume regular milk and with my niece who is allergic to nuts.
The place itself also has a cool and clean decor.“

“Beautiful little creamery close to the house, it's very good and the service is fast. It is somewhat expensive but nothing unusual in 2023. The mini golf is pleasant but it has nothing to envy of its former glory when it opened years ago. It might be due for a facelift.“

“Yummy frozen treat. Had a strawberry shortcake supreme I think. Was extremely filling. Daughter had the brownie one. Was yummy too but too sweet, her sister tried to finish it but again was too sweet for her so of course their dad ate the rest. Only hiccup there was waiting for our order we thought we were supposed to go to the area that said pick up but it was actually at the same window. I'm just surprised the lady did not wave us down since we were clearly visible? Anyway eventually we went back to the original window where we ordered and received our order. Everyone enjoyed their choices.
Parking: Weekday so was very easy to park.“

“Great place if you have a sweet craving. Definitely a lot of variety. I took the caramilk waffle and ice cream and it was excellent. My husband took the bueno waffle and ice cream which was even better. The price is a bit high but acceptable as it is not an everyday thing. We paid for the two of us 32$. The only downside the place is very very tinny and old from the outside which makes you wonder if it is truly clean or not. We weren’t sure to go in or not but we took the chance and we are happy we did.“

Dairy Queen is a great ice cream store, has a little something for everyone.There is a girl that works there,(she was there monday at 3 and again today at around 1)
