“Stopped in with my daughter for a special treat after school this week. The owner was there to greet us with a smile. Love this little gem in summer and winter. Perfect little stop for a sweet treat. Staff always nice! Big shoutout to them for supporting local sports teams as well 👏🏻“

“I went to get just a cake for my daughter and it was the best birthday cake I ever had in my time of living and my daughter loved it and would really love to go back next year for another cake. Staff super nice and there app was a lot easier than I expected and the order and the picture on the cake went smoothly. Staff cleans up bathroom really well and write well.“

“Le comptoir local was a unique “ice cream surprise” on a drive to St Lazaire in the early fall. The gelato was made on-site in this tiny shop and was delicious - lots of flavours too! . There is a national chain ice cream store in St Lazaire as well but it does not begin to compare to this charming experience. We will be back!“

“Really nice spot for ice cream right next to the bike path, making it very well located and popular on sunny days.
It can get quite crowded during peak times.
The menu is very large with lots of choices, though there’s nothing especially new or original.
The place is clean and kid-friendly, and they even provide wet wipes to clean little faces after treats.
There are a few picnic tables under a covered area as well as benches along the parking lot.
There’s also a simple mini putt activity, which is fun for kids.
The only downside was the cashier chatting with friends for several minutes while a long line was waiting.
Overall, still a great stop for a family treat.“

“I spent some time here with my daughter to have a bit of ice cream and a chat inside from the snow. The atmosphere is wonderful, the people are super nice and the food and service are excellent. This is a great place to visit and have a bite while enjoying a great atmosphere.“

“This place is an absolute hidden gem! The customer service is outstanding, and the quality of their treats—from the cannolis and scones to the cookies and gelato—is simply amazing. I went in just for a dessert cake and walked out with gelato and Nutella horns, too; I just couldn’t resist! The reasonable prices make it even easier to support this fantastic local business. Give them a try—you won't regret it!“
