“Very nice plate of beef tartare, accompanied by salad only, as requested. Exact order, impeccable service, not too much, just enough. There were two of us at lunchtime. The ambiance was average as the restaurant was at around 30% capacity in my opinion. I'm going to go back there for lunch next time.“

“This Black Cat is full of reasons for a visit. I came for the beverages. A nearly full place showed that locals come for delicious foods that pair with their long list of beers, cocktails, and wines. So much to taste here. Very friendly bartenders, a big screen on with the soccer world cup, doesn't get better than that.“

“The best waiter, best mix of music, best patio. Casual and so friendly. Crazy delicious dessert of the day. Treat yourself to see the archaeology museum (7 min walk at ilot) and watch the film there on beer making in Quebec…! It features this bar and we are so glad we were inspired to be part of Quebec history! Yah to beer and Quebec!“

“Visited on June 15, 2021, in the afternoon. Very unassuming place, almost a hole in the wall if it wasn't for the large name and logo on the building. Inside is a small but very nice looking tap room and boutique, with two windows looking in the brewing room. They have 8 tap, which are great to try before buying, most of their brews are IPA's. Although I prefer their brewpub, were that have beers brewed exclusively on the spot, it's still a good place to try and buy their very good beers.“
