“Fusion Sushi Traiteur feels like the kind of place that tried to say yes to everyone and decided to build a menu around that idea. Sushi sits next to burgers, poutine shares space with spaghetti, wraps slide in between. It has the soul of a classic cantine, the kind where people come in with different cravings and no one makes a big deal out of it. You walk up to the counter, order a handful of plates, and some of them land on your table almost right away. The slower ones follow later, carried out with a quiet confidence that everything will get where it needs to go.
That is where the best part of the evening happened. One of the plates slipped onto the floor in a blur of small hands and quick movement. It did not matter if it was our table or the staff. Nobody tried to blame anyone. The whole team moved at once into fix mode. They cleaned the mess, checked that no one was hurt, and focused on making the moment feel safe rather than awkward. A fresh plate was prepared without a sigh. On top of that, they brought out a small chocolate lava cake for the child at our table. He took a bite, thought about it, and calmly announced that it was much better than any chocolate cake he had ever had in France. The food itself was solid. Wraps that tasted honest, big portions, spaghetti sauce that felt properly seasoned and cared for. Walking out, I kept thinking that in a place where the menu tries to be everything, the real specialty might be how naturally they choose kindness when things go sideways.“

“Decent sushi, good service. Atmosphere loses a few points because the bathroom has no lock nor does it have a functioning light.
Wish the maki had more variety. Seems catered to tourists, but overall the quality of the fish was as expected and not bad at all.

“Je n’ai pas l’habitude d’écrire des avis, mais commandant régulièrement depuis plus ou moins un an, je me devais de partager mon amour pour l’un de mes restaurants préférés de Québec! Parce que selon moi, Sushi Sakura font probablement les meilleurs sushi que j’aie pu manger! Après plusieurs dizaines de commandes je peux affirmer que je n’ai jamais être déçue par leurs sushi. Dès la première commande j’ai été agréablement surprise et ai vue la différence avec les autres bannières. Je suis à chaque fois surprise par la générosité de leurs portions, quand on achète chez Sushi Sakura on en a pour son argent! Et puis la qualité de leurs produits est exceptionnelle! Ils font le meilleur riz à sushi que j’ai pu manger (jamais sec) et leurs poissons fondent presque sur la langue. Je vous recommande particulièrement leurs nigiris au saumon, hosomakis à l’avocat et rouleau au saumon fumé.“

“The atmosphere was really great. Lights were not too bright nor too dark. The music in the background was loud enough, we were definitely able to hear each other talking.
I ordered the chicken noodle soup, which was delicious, but the only thing was that is wasn't really hot. Could've been warmer. But the taste was pretty good!!
As for the sushis I got the California roll, the salmon Kamikaze ( temaki), i gotta say, the fish there was really fresh. It was melting and was tasteful! I also got the flying fish roe and scallops gunkan which was delicious and big pieces.
As for my last sushi i got soya making with scallops tartare, crab, avocado, cucumber and tempura; the taste was really good, but the only unfortunate thing, is that the sushi cost 19$ for 4 pieces. It is really pricy and in my opinion, it is way too expensive.
Otherwise than this, the whole experience was really great! I do recommend this place!! 😀“

“we found this little GEM in a quiet neighborhood right outside the Montmorency Falls, a spot you absolutely have to try! Very decent variety plus the local specials.
