“This place is EXACTLY what we hope look for when we’re on vacation: A casual, non-pretentious place with food that is absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the charcuterie Panino and my wife had a Porchetta panino. Both were literally the best paninis we’ve had in North America and much of Italy. They both featured a special “relish” (for lack of a better word) that was a mix of lettuce, peppers pearl onions and exquisite seasoning. I wish I could have that on every sandwich I eat - forever! The mixtures is both exceptionally tasty and a bit spicy. When I took my first bite it was like a party in my mouth! I knew almost immediately that it was one of the best sandwiches that I’d ever had. Then my wife gave me a bite of her porchetta panino and THAT was even better. The seasoning on that pork just exploded my taste buds… and I’m not even a big fan of pork. One of the keys to the greatness of these sandwiches is the amazing bread. It has a perfect combination of a delicious, delicate center with a perfect, gourmet-crunchy crust. Not too hard or thick, but just right for marrying with the perfection of the ingredients.
Not to be outdone were the staff! They were all every bit as wonderful as the food, and so welcoming and helpful. My wife and I truly can’t recommend the Parma Café enough. They served us a meal that we kept reflecting on with great fondness the rest of our trip. In fact, there is a very famous deli in Montreal called Schwartz’s which is known around the world for its amazing sandwiches. We ate there the day before and it was, indeed, good , but if I had to choose between the two, I’d eat at Parma Café hands down every time. Enjoy.“

Nous sommes de Québec et étions seulement de passage, en sortant du dépanneur à côté, je me suis laissée tenter par le sandwich Pinocchio. Petite place très propre, des gens accueillants et souriants. Ils nous ont même donné 2 chocolatines en bonus! Quel beau hasard, délicieux! Merci 😊“

“je suis allé chercher un lunch pour mon fils et moi et je n'ai pas mentionné qu'un des sandwichs était pour un enfant... comble de malheur le sandwich était un peu trop piquant pour fiston, j'avise donc la commis au comptoir qui se fut un grand plaisir de m'offrir autre chose pour compenser, :) fiston était bien content et moi aussi, les sandwichs étaient A1 et la salade de patates aussi, allez leur dire bonjour , c'est bien d'encourager local, merci encore Capitaine Sandwich!!!“

“After having visited Italy, and tasting the best sandwiches in the world (in my opinion) coming back to Montreal, I have been looking for this exact sandwich ever since. Finally, Ciccio's delivers the real deal. I had the Primo AND the Muffuletta. The Muffuletta blew my mind. It transported me right back to Florence Italy. I had half of each and brought home the uneaten halves for my daughter. it was a most challenging task to get home without eating everything;-)“

“If you like large tasty sandwiches and don't mind long line ups this is the place for you. My son and husband love this food. I think the ingredients are high quality and the portions very generous but it's way too salty form me. The sandwiches are huge and the bread is a little tough so I wouldn't go there with small children.“

“Trendy spot with friendly staff and great ambiance. I'd never had shakshouka in a sandwich before but it was exactly what I needed on a cloudy 10 degree day. The warm sweet pepper and cumin flavors kept me going for the rest of the day. Love how they added feta! I will definitely be back for coffee and to try something else from the menu. Beer selection in the back was local and extensive.“

“Orderd my sub online and when I got in the employee told me he had received a few orders and it wouldn't be long. I sat down and waited. The young man asked me how my day was and I was taken aback. I'm not used to the employees asking me that. After a few minutes of polite conversation I thanked him and left. That little interaction has made me want to make this my go to subway now. “There are a lot more items on the menu than some years before but the steak sandwich is not as good as it used to be. The service at that particular location is impeccable! They still serve the old menu but you need to know what you want because you won't find it in the new menu.“

“Got me through many a finals week. One time I was here and I actually don’t remember a very eventful thing that happened so I think I’ll make something up. Obama walked in and we were all like woah what are you doing here! And he went up to the counter and asked for his favorite cookie the subway chocolate chip cookie. The server gladly handed it to him then Obama went into the submarine and said ‘ok. Time to save America’ then he signed off on a bunch of war crimes“

Only one sandwich maker, but he was fantastic. Young Phillipe never missed a beat, served everyone with a smile and professionalism. This young man is to be commended. (He could have used a little help though !)“
