“Les tacos étaient corrects au niveau du goût, nous avons été servis rapidement et le personnel est aimable. J’aurais simplement aimé qu’ils mettent à jour leur sélection de sauces, car ils n’avaient que de la sauce Tabasco et du ketchup, ce qui, selon moi, ne convient pas vraiment aux tacos. Le jour où nous y sommes allés, il y avait beaucoup de moustiques à l’extérieur, ce qui rendait difficile de manger et de profiter du repas en terrasse.”

I have a gluten intolerance, so I have become accustomed to leaving restaurant outings hungry, as gluten-free options are often limited and I'm the only one of my family and friends, therefore it often gets overlooked. Well, let me tell you, I was treated LIKE A QUEEN. I was able to enjoy everything and Chef Paolo even came out to discuss my dietary needs to make sure everything is ok and to give me options for how I would like my veal cooked. WOW! That level of care and attention was truly exceptional Everyone in our party was amazed by the quality and taste of the food. We are an Italian family that cooks homemade authentic Italian food, so we're not easily impressed. Each meal earned a 10/10 as did my gluten-free meal. Everything was served at the perfect temperature and was absolutely delicious. Alessandro was checking on everyone and chatting like he knew us forever. What an absolute delight, this was a perfect evening. Beautiful restaurant, outstanding food and amazing staff. I highly recommend this hidden gem in Lasalle. “Very good quality dumpling restaurant, one of the best in been too, dumplings are delicious, also my daughter wanted fries and it’s the best fries iv ever tried as well (surprisingly) extra crispy and soft on the inside.

Overall everything was super delicious, we took beef and chicken coriander dumplings, Kim-chi, marinated cucumber and fries. Everything was amazing!

My mom normally doesn’t even like goat, but she absolutely loved the goat here! It was so tender and full of flavour.

I’m so happy we discovered Vicky’s and got to experience both the incredible food and the heart behind the restaurant. Patricia is doing something really special by keeping her mom’s legacy alive through her food and her community.

“Finally! A proper Uyghur restaurant in Montreal!
I had been missing guiru lagman for months since my trip to Central Asia, and Le Taklamakan brought back memories of some of the best Uyghur food I tried there.
Both versions of lagman - guiru and suiru - were amazing. Properly hand-stretched noodles, flavourful meat, and perfectly cooked vegetables. The pilaf (plov) was also excellent and tasted just like a comforting home-cooked meal.
Definitely 5 stars for the food. I’ll absolutely be coming back!”
