“To the tourists: yes, pick this place to get your pastries. If you pick the raspberry croissant, get paper towels and be ready to look like a toddler with an ice cream cone. If you see a discounted one on the counter, they are a great option because the filling will be firm. I can't vouch for the coffee but people seem to like it. Their tea is fine but skip the chai. Try their mac and cheese with mushrooms for lunch. If you see me with my dog and there's only one pistachio cruffin on the shelf, leave it there. It's mine, I'll come get it (you can get it, you're okay. But don't let someone else get it).“

“Super endroit qui accepte les chiens en laisse j’ai pu travailler et déguster un bon café et un sandwich et que dire de la limonade à la rhubarbe délicieuse. Le personnel était super gentil et avenant. C’est beau et l’ambiance était super j’étais supposer écouter une formation mais la musique était trop bonne donc j’ai travaillé sur autre chose 😅“

“Petit déjeuner samedi matin: pancakes a la citrouille. Je suis seule mais pas seul. Un bel endroit où je me sens comme chez une amie. Le service est toujours courtois. Je suis la seule dépassée 40 ans .Tout le monde s'en fout! Merci aux administrateurs ou trices de choisir du personnel aussi gentil et accueillant!“

“Last Saturday, May 16, around early afternoon, I along with my whole family of 6 found this place. We were hesitant to get into the cafe because I assumed it's expensive. This is our first time in Quebec. What has made it fantastically extraordinary os Ms. Samira's manner, welcoming smile, amazing character, specially how she served us. I felt thrown back to my childhood when I was a kid and I felt the warmth of being cuddled by my mom when she welcomed all 6 of us.
Thank you Samira. We are looking forward to seeing you during summer.“

“Café Mila is such a gem! The cozy, welcoming atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to get some work done or simply relax with a nice chai latte. It's a woman-owned café that truly stands out, and I love supporting local businesses like this one. “A chain cafe, with both the good and bad that entails.
The decor and atmosphere is nice. The space is large.
Drinks and the pecan tarte were ok. I would have chose something else, so maybe I missed their specialty.“

“I visit this cafe about 2 times a week, before work. Each time, the service is impeccable. One of the employees knows my order by heart which is always nice. The products are fresh, the places are clean. There are plenty of seats, a big plus“

“Our visit to this cafe was one of our best experiences during our trip to Quebec City. The owner and all of the employees were super kind to me and my two kids, playing with them, talking to them, etc. My daughter loved her lemonade. The owner even gave our kids a couple of the stuffed animal mascots of the café which they LOVE. One of the staff members, Cynthia, spent a lot of time talking to us. I especially loved that the staff let me practice my beginner French and were so supportive, switching to English when I needed help. My kids will cherish this memory and so will we !!“

“Great discovery, wide choice of flavors. It's original and very good! I recommend the place. The puffs are a little greasy but at the same time they're fried so that's normal. Their ice cream is also very good. I would definitely come back. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Excellent biscoff flavor. A much appreciated little sweet treat.“

“Best coffee I've ever had really just outside the old city great location and atmosphere, very nice staff on st jean ( John) street on one of coolest street in Quebec City it's the Bohemian neighborhood with many shops and restaurants with a great atmosphere just outside the old city but is one of a oldest neighborhoods in the city great pubs as well.“

“J'ai commander Le Réveillon, La Sève, et L'Ete Indien. C'est vraiment mes cafés préférés! Ils sont exceptionnels. Les arômes et goûts sont exactement comme décrits dans la description d'arôme sur le site. Je trouve ces cafés très smooth et délicieux. La prochaine fois, je vais sûrement commander 5 kg de ces trois. Incroyable☕️“

“WOW! Quelle belle expérience pour les 80 ans d’Alain ❤️ Nous avions réservé un événement privé et avions le café entièrement pour nous seuls, ce qui a rendu l’expérience vraiment spéciale. Nous avons pu profiter des différents espaces : l’apéro dans une salle, le brunch dans la cuisine et la terrasse extérieure, le tout dans une ambiance chaleureuse et familiale. Des chansons, des projections de souvenirs, etc. Rosélie, notre hôte, a fait preuve d’une super capacité d’adaptation pour répondre à toutes nos demandes (céliaques, végétariens, besoins particuliers, projection, etc.). Le brunch était délicieux : saumon fumé, fromages, viennoiseries, œufs bénédictins, shakshuka, omelette au homard… même nos « foodies » étaient impressionnés! Les enfants pouvaient jouer et s’amuser librement pendant que nous profitions pleinement de ce beau moment ensemble. Une magnifique journée qui s’est terminée par une promenade au bord du fleuve. Merci infiniment ❤️ Nous reviendrons“

“This is the only café in Quebec City that satisfies all my criteria:
- Good espresso (allongé)
- Comfortable seating in spacious environment (virtually no students hoarding the place)
- Amicable service workers (baristas, etc.)
I love the U-shaped corner seat in particular. Because this shop is in industrial area, there is not usually a lot of people at the same time, which allows me thoroughly enjoy this quiet café from time to time, whenever I need break from the monotony of my own (still brilliant) home-office. A change in environment can shift one's thoughts & ideas.
I've only tried the coffee here, so cannot comment on the food.“

“Fast and efficient like many McDonald's, the employees were pretty busy... but the positives stop there. It's a cold, dull dining room, with strange characters hiding in every corner. Then the parking lot, impossible to get around, too many comings and goings (no pun intended).“
