“Six years ago I left The Manoir a terrible review. I have just deleted it. There has been a 180 degree turnaround and the Manoir has returned to the place I remember from my lifeguarding days, only with some better food offerings. I have been several times at different times of the day in the past year and it is solid and reliable.

The pizzas and the fish and chips are my go-tos, but there are a lot of good options. I had a Greek salad that was great. Kudos to the kitchen!

Yes, sometimes unexpected crowds might slow it a bit occasionally, but the waitstaff are always pleasant and professional, and the managers are always responsive and pitching in to help.The place is huge, especially with outdoor seating in the warmer weather. Frozen fries are way tastier at the fast food restaurants; McDonald's, Harveys, A+W. etc. With a restaurant of this calibre we certainly expected fresh fries. It really spoiled our dinner, as we all chose fries with our meals. It's nearly insulting. If you don't have the facilities to offer fresh fries, then just serve baked or mashed.
