“Arabesque is easily at the top of the Montreal falafel list. They have a variety of options to order from but at least trying their falafels is non-negotiable if you go. They make classic chickpea falafels that are both perfect in texture and in taste. They offer classic toppings but they really stand out for their personal twist with sumac, sesame seeds, amazing preserved lemon slices and sauces which you won't see at other falafel shops. Hanny also gave us muhammara to try, I am very picky about my muhammara and I can confidently say it was amazing. My friend had the Shish Taouk which she raved about. The fries and their sauce were also delicious.
We found this place randomly while looking for food to enjoy at the nearby park, unfortunately there was construction everywhere around the little shop but a small passage was created to let people get through. The food and hospitality are 1000% worth the effort. There is also seating upstairs and a picnic table outside.“

“May 2024: I go to this chicken rouge 4x weeks after the gym each time. The Staff is very professional, FAST and efficient. I always receive my order in less than 2 minutes or 5 when it's busy (I'm not even kidding). They fill the dishes well and even put 4 strips of chicken, I recommend 100%
Edit November 12, 2024: Incredible service again, The staff recognized me and FILLED MY BOWL, and even gave me 5 chicken strips, GOATED RED CHICKEN

“Thank you for this amazing last minute dinner meal I picked up for my family. The soup of the day was absolutely delicious and fresh. The chopped salad was amazing. The tuna, shrimp, beef and chicken tacos were very tasty. The portions are generous and reasonably priced for quality food! I will definitely be returning.“

“We were visiting from Ontario and stopped in. A little confusing because it's upstairs of another restaurant. Small & clean space.
The service was great, both gentlemen were helpful, and friendly. Assisted with explaining the menu, and nice small talk. Most important the food was absolutely delicious, fresh and filling. Would go there again.“

As someone who cooks all the time, I'm extremely critical about food quality and taste. That's why I was genuinely surprised and impressed with Poulet Rouge on my first visit!
We ordered the chicken bowl with salad and quinoa, the chicken bowl with brown rice, and the chicken poutine. Everything exceeded my expectations for a fast food franchise. The chicken was well-seasoned and properly cooked, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors were spot-on. This isn't your typical fast food - the quality really shows.
Beyond the food, the service was great, the restaurant was clean, and there was comfortable seating available. Our order came out quickly without compromising on taste or presentation.
What really seals the deal is the pricing - it's actually affordable, which is rare these days given the current economy. You're getting quality food at a fair price point.
I'm genuinely excited to go back, which says a lot coming from someone who usually prefers home-cooked meals. Poulet Rouge has earned a regular customer. Highly recommend giving them a try!“

“It was the best fried chicken we’ve had in a long time!!! 🥹😍 The spaghetti reminds me of Jollibee. I love that it has so much sauce. The bbq was tender, easy to eat and the shanghai was good too! “I have ordered with them several times, and I commend them for their consistency, the food is very good, not too much salt, not too much fat, exactly as it should be. If you're still hesitant, take my word for it and order, you won't regret it. It's so good I can't get enough of it.

“On October 10, 2024, I had a very special gastronomic experience in a restaurant at Carrefour Laval. At dinner time, at New York Fries at Carrefour Laval, I was treated to a large poutine named in my honor: the “Seb” poutine. In this poutine, there are (if I remember correctly): fries, cheese curds, pieces of pickles and merguez, cheese sauce and brown sauce for poutine, pieces of bacon and the all served with a fountain drink. It was a real treat!“

Calamars, assiette de pâté et fromage, soupe à l'oignon, filet mignon cuit à la perfection, hamberger goûteux, nous avons même commander un plat de pâte dans un sauce blanche avec crevettes qui n'était pas sur le menu et ils ont fait sans problème.
