“Le St-Urbain has become a family favourite! Every dish is delicious. I ordered cream of parsnip and apple soup pistachios, endive, sage. An absolute must try! It was the best soup I ever had. The seafood was fresh, meats are tender and original desserts. I ordered carrot ice cream with spicy chocolate cake that upon reading the ingredients you would think it would not work but it was delicious.

The menu changes frequently to reflect ingredients in season. Atmosphere is warm and cozy. Service was great, hard working caring team for sure. What a gem of a restaurant in Ahuntsic. I can not recommend this restaurant enough. Bravo!“

“Très certainement le meilleur restaurant de Laval, et indéniablement digne des plus grandes tables françaises. Nous avons opté pour le menu dégustation : chaque plat fut une œuvre de finesse, finement exécutée, d’un équilibre remarquable et d’une justesse absolue. Ce fut un enchaînement de saveurs maîtrisées, un véritable délice, offrant une expérience gastronomique rare, comme je n’en avais pas vécue depuis fort longtemps. Et oserais-je le dire : le grand chef québécois de cette maison n’a rien à envier aux plus grands chefs français — sans même avoir à s’en enorgueillir. Sa cuisine parle d’elle-même, avec une maîtrise, une sensibilité et une intelligence du goût qui imposent naturellement le respect. “The food was Excellent! Much better than expected. The place was a bit loud and there were a lot of kids but that can be attributed to the time of year. The prices were also very good, low for the quality of the food. Lots of space between the tables also meant you had privacy for conversations, if you could be heard above the children. On a different night it would have been quite romantic. The only downside was the service which was indifferent. Drink refills were non-existent and if you wanted something you had to get up from your table and go find a staffer. I believe we went a full 20 minutes without seeing any staff in the dining room. The diners were all looking around, confused. I believe that this night the staff were focused on a large group in a separate room but that doesn't change the fact that we all are paying customers and expect the same service. With even a modicum of service this would have been a five star review. The food was just that good.“

“Very good table. It feels good to have this so close to home. It's worth encouraging them and going to try.

It's a little expensive for the area, but the quality of the service and the food is there. We are always well received. It is for these reasons that we return there.

A perfect restaurant for special occasions, romantic evenings, cozy meals with family or friends.“

“Cozy , tasty, great staff, great drinks, atmosphere but please fix the bathroom situation.
The faucet is not practical, a roll of brown paper on the counter is just not sanitary or efficient and raises questions about the clientele and their dirty hands. The contrast with the rest of the bar is jarring. Do you not want us to have clean hands ?“

“It was one of the best restaurants I ever went to. The place is very clean and well maintained. They have a big variety of food options. They serve everything on time, have big portions for a really cheap price, and are incomparable to other restaurants. The staff there are super very cheerful. I would really recommend this place 👌.“

“The cakes in particular are spectacular and delicious. Really worth the price. Also, the meat and salmon pies are inexpensive considering their good quality and a perfect solution for a quick dinner .“

“Ambiance amazing, staff friendly, love the vibe. Had the salmon tartare with fries. Not a big fan, missing flavour, lime wasn’t enough. Very bland. Missing a little something. I would also incorporate everything on the same plate. Little chaotic but that’s also my fault. We went with my 2 year old, he wanted to eat on my lap. So I had his plate and my two.“

“I’m not usually one to write a review but for this experience, I had to.

We were there celebrating my mother’s birthday and everything from start to finish was incredible. Our server Emilie was outstanding and a superstar of a server. She remembered every guests name, was very friendly, and made sure to have fun interactions with everyone. She truly made the night feel even more special. From the food to the service, everything was on point.

I will definitely be returning and will request Emilie!
