“We had an absolutely amazing experience. It’s a fantastic place for a professional meeting, not too noisy, with a great atmosphere that really helps conversation flow. The setting genuinely helped us close a business deal.

The food was delicious, every single part of it. From start to finish, everything was full of flavor and beautifully prepared.

And wow… GREAT service. Honestly, the best waitress ever. If you go, ask to be served by Rebecca. She was amazing. My French is super bad, but she made me feel completely welcome and assisted us perfectly. She was friendly, attentive, and truly on top of everything the whole time.

Real food, not frozen, no bagged veggies to my knowledge. Everything I had to this date was made with fresh ingredients.
Tasty.
Clean, no kidding!
Doesn't smell like a fast food joint, the kitchen is in the back.
I actually enjoy what I eat.

“Good portion of fries and good brisket. The chicken is well cooked but I found it a little too juicy and greasy. The fries are super good, coleslaw too.Fast delivery, the delivery man should be a little more courteous. In my opinion he was not happy with the $3.50 tip. He slammed the door without saying a word.“

“Great experience at Jack Astor’s! Our server was a true one-man army — super attentive, friendly, and always checking on us to make sure everything was perfect. The service really made our visit special. The piña colada was very good and refreshing. We also loved the garlic bread and nachos; they were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Everything came out fresh and well prepared. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place!“

I only gave it 4 stars because I saw online that kids eat free with each purchased adult meal, called this location and a man confirmed that on Sundays kids eat free, only to go there and realize I had to pay for my kids. Not a big deal to pay but I was disappointed at the false information I received minutes prior to showing up there.“

“Tried many different locations across Montreal. This is one of my favorites due to its location near work. Food is generally consistent regardless of location. Main draw its availability of fresh toppings which you select after the plain item is cooked. Everything from your standard toppings to olives, sweet or hot peppers, and a variety of sauces. Definitely more of an upscale burger spot. Limited seating options that sometimes turn it into carry out only as their fast dependable service ends up with many return customers during normal peak meal times like lunch.“

“Been ordering here for years. Always great and affordable for good portions, even after all this inflation. Dining area is definitely dated, but does the job. The business runs on take out so i doubt that will change. However, it's always been consistent and great for me, given a very few occasions. I can always vouch for La Mer Jaune and will continue to do so.“

Staffs were welcoming and friendly. Place was clean with nice aesthetic.

As for cake, am not that experienced nor a big fan of cheese cake but I think it was ok (but surely ate better ones around).

“Ambiance amazing, staff friendly, love the vibe. Had the salmon tartare with fries. Not a big fan, missing flavour, lime wasn’t enough. Very bland. Missing a little something. I would also incorporate everything on the same plate. Little chaotic but that’s also my fault. We went with my 2 year old, he wanted to eat on my lap. So I had his plate and my two.“
