“This restaurant was simply spectacular. The service was so professional and welcoming and the food was simply exquisite. The Porcelet “Gaspor” came with two cuts of pork and the most skilfully and aesthetically prepared celery root I have ever seen. The absolute star was the Breton Kouign-amann served with an apple brandy from Québec.Quelle merveille!“

6220 Rue Morin, Val-Morin - 1.78 miles

“Traditional Breton, Belgian, French (might be missing some cultures) inspired bakery. They make great sourdough bread (with no added yeast unlike most fake sourdough bread you find on the market), great pastries, and a few other products, made with high quality ingredients. It used to be a Bistro-style restaurant, and this Christmas they offered a menu of meals and desserts to have ready for the holidays' dinners, including two different super fancy Yule Logs. The baker/chef, Olivier and his wife, Sophie, are both lovely, you'll get to taste their passion right as you choose your breads and pastries while each product will be intricately described with a possible cultural history. That invites you to slow down and take a moment to listen to what stories might come up, instead of just walking in and walking out cold at heart rushing through the overly stressful culture without taking the time for healthy human connections. You can also sit at one of the few tables they have in their small but cozy space in front of the display, and enjoy a coffee as you savor the treat of your choice and chat with the Sophie (because the Olivier is quite busy), really sweet and energetic lady. Love them and thankful for their dedication to share their passion with us!“

“A big favorite! We were delighted this evening, the whole menu looked delicious, we finally opted for the tuna steak and beef cheek; we were not disappointed. The meal was visually delectable and the flavors were there. We went on a Thursday evening so we were able to enjoy the evening and Joanie's service was attentive and warm.Looking forward to coming back to visit you!“

“Order for 4 people 3 were lukewarm, the tables were too packed, we got 4 rolls I asked for butter they only brought us 2 small containers, one person had chosen crushed potatoes on the menu, they received fries. The ladies' toilet was not clean. Two waitresses share the ground floor, one stands out for her presence and good humor, thank you very much.“

“What an incredible surprise! My wife and I went to this restaurant with a friend tonight and it was our first time visiting. We were immediately greeted by our waiter who seemed extremely proud of the restaurant and its food. He asked if this was our first visit and when we told him it was, he took some serious time to explain the menu and he promised in no uncertain terms that we were in for a serious food experience. To be honest, I wondered if the food could possibly live up to the descriptions we were getting but I must tell you, every single dish was absolutely outstanding. We started with a Caesar salad and gravlax. When the host says the spices are unique, believe when I say they are not filling around. Absolutely the best Caesar I’ve ever had. Our main courses were equally delightful! The meat, the pasta, and the vegetables were done perfectly and each dish was creative in its execution. The desserts were equally amazing and we all agreed that this is without any hesitation, the best restaurant experience we’ve had in Saint Sauveur (and we’ve had many many great experiences) in as long as we can remember. My only regret is that I did not get to say hello to the chef but my wife did. We will be back very soon and look forward to another amazing experience!“
