“Overall very good food, chefs are great. Summer hires are rude and impatient however. So just “for future reference”: The line gets crowded quickly, small place. To avoid the staff becoming frustrated with you, make sure to: 1) Pick your menu items quickly and 2) pick drinks quickly, and if they are from fridge take drinks with you to final register If you do not do this, you may be called out in public by folks at register, and it can be a little embarrassing. Check menu online and know what you want before you go and you should have a good experience!“

“I had a birthday celebration at this restaurant. We sat near the cozy fireplace on a chilly night. The cheeseboard (varied cheeses, focaccia bread, honey, blackberries, nuts, jam, greens) and Pt. Judith calamari were beautifully presented. Excellent bottle of Pinot Grigio from Tuscany, Italy added to food, Staff was very accomodating. I enjoyed mussels, scallops, little necks over pasta in scampi sauce. Others had the salmon as well as the bolognese. It's a very roomy, quiet setting near the water. Staff came out to sing happy birthday with a luscious ice cream dessert with a candle on top. I was pleasantly surprised. We will return to this place for sure!“

“Outstanding meal! There were 7 of us for a family gathering (we met in the middle for CT + MA family) and everything about our dinner was exceptional! The food, the wine, the calamari + dip, the bread, the olive oil + balsamic dip were all delicious, but the lobster ravioli and caramel gelato were to die for. Omg! Our server was perfect too. “I have to say the cinnamon rolls are absolutely delicious. The ones I have had in the past from other places have been very dry and bla and honestly it made me not buy them anymore. Ds will be my go to from now on for cinnamon buns. I haven't tried anything else but will be, in the near future.“

“Quick service, decent latte. I ordered a pretzel chocolate croissant as well - croissant was flakey and light, the pretzel/saltiness paired well with the not too sweet chocolate in a well balanced combo.

I would definitely stop in again and try out their other bakery items.

There is the option to eat more casual downstairs, there is nice outdoor seating overlooking the river and bridge, and the upstairs Sezn offers fine dining. I tried Sezn for the first time and enjoyed the sweet potato gnocchi, eggplant lasagna and matcha strawberry shortcake. It was a beautiful atmosphere with very attentive staff. The food was exceptional.“

“What a fun spot! They have so many great liquors to try and games to play if you want to hang with friends. We didn’t get to try any cocktails but the menu looked great. We took a bottle of the foragers gin and walnut espresso home with us as well as a set of the cute RI shot glasses. Definitely stop by if you are a fan of unique spirits!“

After a wonderful meal, my husband paid the bill & we were getting ready to leave when the manager came to our table to ask what was wrong & if we were unhappy w/our server.....'No he was fantastic' we said. Oh! he said, because we didn't leave a tip he thought the waiter had messed up.... suffice it to say.... husband had THOUGHT he left the tip when he paid. Apparently he didn't!!! Talk about being embarrassed!! We gave Jake a little extra in his tip. So, next time you're at Davenports, East Prov. ask for Jake... he's awesome & goes beyond his waitstaff duties.“

“I've recently travelled from England to visit a friend in Rhode Island. She purchased one of your cakes as a welcome cake a cute one with bees on it and also some chocolate chip cookies. The cake was absolutely amazing and is by far the best I have ever tasted. The cookies were great too.“

“I have been a diehard customer of this amazing restaurant for the past 10 years of my life. Being a creature of habit, I consistently order the grilled chicken, Caesar salad, pizza, which has never disappointed. The one thing I do recommend is that when you order this either online or over the phone, just ask them to make sure that the chef cuts the pizza well, if not, you will wind up with croutons and Romaine lettuce & chicken everywhere. The pizza chocolate chip cookie is an absolute must. It is like a warm tollhouse cookie that your grandma used to make for you just in the shape of a pizza.“
