“I was told by a friend to stop off in Guatemala on the way back from Costa Rica...and I asked 'What is in Guatemala??" She replied, "ANTIGUA!" I called immediately upon arrival to thank her! It is the cutest colonial town with many beautiful cathedrals delicious restaurants, and super friendly locas! I spent a week discovering what each cobbled stone street had to offer, and I can't recommend it enough to friends. I had absolutely no trouble or fear walking around day or night by myself. The main part of the city is quite quaint and very easy to maneuver on foot, but if you have trouble walking...you can also get a tuctuc to anywhere for just a couple of dollars. Lastly, I will just warn you to bring some extra $$ because you will absolutely fall in love with the hand made textiles!!“

I’ve always searched where I could find the original distributors and makers of this cake and never had any luck…until now! Their desserts are sooo sooo sooo sooo good! “It's now Cosmopolitan. The food is still very authentic Colombian. Been coming here for decades and can safely say the new restaurant is delicious. They have beer imported from Colombia. If you appreciate a good smooth beer come over to this spot there's a bar. I notice the power has a PS5 hooked up to one of the TVs, pretty sure if you ask nicely he'll let yah play COD, no cap.
My Bandeja came with EVERYTHING and then some. Some of the recipes may not be "Traditional" in the sense that he takes some liberties in changing things up. His mini Arepa, for example, are not traditional... Yet they are and are to die for.“

“I finally stopped by Three Wishes Bakery in Johnston RI. Can I say I was so impressed and excited and happy. It was like a classic RI bakery with all the most beautiful pastry and donuts I have ever seen in a gluten free bakery. I wanted to buy it all. My husband and I shared two donuts at home, one was the creme brûlée and the other a Boston creme. Soooo good. We ate the cinnamon twists in the car on the way home. We were both making lots of yummy noises. I also tried their sandwich rolls which were delicious. Soft and flavorful unlike other gluten free rolls I have bought. The spinach pies were our lunch and they didn’t disappoint with the raspberry twists for our dessert. I will now be a regular at Three Wishes Bakery. Finally a bakery I can enjoy.“

“This bakery is so family orientated, Lee is amazing and so nice and very friendly. Our almost 2 month old daughter passed away a few weeks ago and he was so accommodating to our needs, compassionate, and did everything literally last minute with no problem. Never mind the cake was delicious and huge and exactly what we wanted. While I was there dropping some pics off I ended up trying a calzone and got the eggplant one which was also amazing. Sometimes eggplant can be chewy and this one was not. Great place. I HIGHLY recommend!!“

The woman manning the table there was super helpful, answered all of our questions and helped us out since we couldn’t really look at all of the different flavors with our daughter’s wheel chair. The cookies we bought were AMAZING. Only issue we had was we didn’t buy more to bring home.“
