They know everyone's order by heart, their names, and where they are headed off to work for the day. They keep things running smooth even with a line to the back of the room. “It's not Great but I liked it quite a bit, I'm going to start going here more and their cookies were honestly amazing! Quiche was definitely a little subpar, but that's sort of to be expected at a hole in the wall bakery- her specialty is sweets not savory stuff. It's hard to remain profitable in this climate and I admire how she still had fresh croissants, cookies and cupcakes which not everyone has. She was nice but maybe seemed a bit frightened that anyone was in the store at all ha. I can't speak for being an employee but she's a lot more considerate and mindful than some of the chefs & bakers I've interacted with as a professional in food. Thank you, we will be coming again. Also, this place is not that expensive y'all are just spoiled by Starbucks and dunks with their economies of scale wrapped in plastic- this is a real store owned by a real person and all of those dollars are going to human beings not robots & investment firms. I liked it!Kid-friendliness: This store has a cloth checkers board & homey vibes with lots of visual stimulation for kids to stare off into space or play a giant table sized game of checkers.Wheelchair accessibility: It has a ramp but if I was in a wheelchair I certainly wouldn't want to attempt it by myself but what do I know.“

“I have been going to this Walmart often....the area on Washington street can get very busy with traffic, so it's best when it's not during rush or busy hours. But I got some vitamins for far less than I would get if I buy the national brand. Reading the list of ingredients and percentage of daily nutritional requirement, these Spring Valley choices are very close to the other ones, at about 30-50% off. Do yourself a favor and compare prices....many times, these are even cheaper than the warehouse clubs like BJ's and Costco.“

“These are the best pastries I've had in New England bar none. The cream puffs in particular are stellar. The cream inside isn't the super-light whipped-cream-like item I'm used to having, instead it is a thicker richer cream that is truly delightful. I bought several and gave them out to friends and they got rave reviews across the board. The same can be said for their absolutely amazing Pastel Basco which is probably my favorite from them and *also* got rave reviews across the board. Better than the desserts in the North End of Boston from everyone I asked to try a bite.Parking: There is a small paid lot just a couple of blocks away, it was something like $2 for an hour.“

Our family ordered a strawberry cake for a birthday, and it was amazing. 4 layers of the most tender, delicious cake with strawberry "filling" between the layers. 8 HUGE chocolate dipped strawberries decorated the top...juiciest strawberries I've ever had, to be honest!Can't wait to taste more decadent offerings from Marti's!“
