Realized when Abby confirmed the order details that I had called the wrong location. She facilitated the transfer and let me know once it was done so I knew it was successful. “We really like these cookies. Some flavors more than others. Only problem we have had is that I placed an order online in the morning and scheduled pickup for that evening. When I arrived at the store, 45 minutes away, they were sold out and the store was closed. I had already paid for my order in advance about 10 hours earlier that day. I had to call the manager the next day for a refund. I understand that they had unexpected sales. But if you paid in advance, the order should have been put aside. Despite the situation, the employee and manager were nice and I received my refund.“

“Hometown Bakery did a great job on my cupcakes for my daughter in law’s bridal shower! The frosting was the perfect color and they also made some specialty cookies that we used as favors. They were just beautiful!“

“For the past two years we’ve gone to Whisk & Paddle for my son’s birthday cakes. The first time I explained to one of the owners, Alyse, that my son wanted a camo, American flag, Fortnite birthday cake if that was even possible. We were so happy and blown away when we picked it up! This year, he requested a pepperoni pizza birthday cake. Once again, we were not disappointed! The cakes were both beautiful and so delicious!“

“Oh my gosh Better Grains Bakery is unbelievable.My son had an appointment in Norton so I saw this place online and place in order. Keri was so accommodating. I got Irish Soda bread(been searching for gf Irish bread for years!) it was delicious! Also great bagels, cinnamon rolls are so yummy. Biscuits are great. I will be placing more orders. Even with high gas prices worth every penny for the 35 minute drive. Best gluten free treats I have ever had.“

“The person at the front counter was extremely friendly, personable. She was welcoming and very attentive to what I wanted to eat. The food was more of a mixed bag, though I only had baked goods. I had a "Lemon Coffee Roll" that while looked delicious, was flat, dry and somewhat lacking in flavor. Honestly it was slightly dissapointing. I also sampled the lemon loaf which was much more satisfying in texture, although it could've used some more lemon flavor. The coffee was hot, light and not burnt - perfectly enjoyable as it were. Maybe I caught them on an "off" day or didn't get the right items, but I expected a little better. None the less, they had a good selection and as I said - the service, was very friendly! I would likely give them one more try.

Parking: Medium sized lot, it wasn't busy so parking was ample but I could see it filling up fast on a busy day.“

“This shop has the best coffee and donuts and breakfast sammies around! Income here for coffee almost no matter what - flavored without being oily or cloyingly sweet. Milky Way is the best! And if I were to eat a donut, I’d make sure it counts - these are hands down the best I’ve had in a 50mi radius. And the staff is friendly and helpful, and it’s quick and easy. Best shop around.“

“The bread here is incredibly fresh, much better than Whole Foods. The highlight for me is their vegan options, which taste like real food, not grass—lol. The vegan muffins were delicious. The service exceeded my expectations; the woman who spoke Portuguese provided excellent customer service. When I asked about the cream cheese, she gave me a small sample, which piqued my interest even more. It’s a bonus that they have Brazilian staff; now I can visit more often and bring my mom along too.“

“I drove from Middleboro to Guarino’s last week because a few years ago, I went to a function and had Guarino’s cookies. They are AMAZING! I purchased a box of cookies for a function & of course I had a million questions. Bernadette was amazingly helpful & knowledgeable. The cookies were fantastic & the staff was warm & welcoming. No traditional Italian or French pastries.It is not a large bakery, but there were some fun treats I had never tried before, and I had no trouble finding parking.I asked for anything with chocolate, and this is what they had.This cake had what tasted like sweetened condensed milk frosting. It wasn’t bad, but I do wish there had been more chocolate options.“
