“We had a delightful (off season) lunch at this lovely, spacious restaurant/bar off the main road in Charlestown, RI. We ate at the beautiful wide wooden bar and had a delicious and reasonably priced meal. The service was friendly, local, prompt and attentive. My cajun spiced flounder with horseradish aioli over rice with salsa was delicious, a very generous portion (made two meals) and spiced perfectly rather than the limited bland "cajun" food served elsewhere around here. The Garlic Bread Bites were also delicious. A lovely, quiet, delicious and very affordable meal just a minute off the beaten track. Highly recommend it, especially off season in South County, RI!“

“My parents and I had lunch here last week and loved the ambiance. The decor was fun and quirky, but warm. The food was delicious and the service was great. The only reason that I am giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the menu is limited for vegetarians. They did have a veggie dog option, so I had a kimchi dog and it was great. My dad had the gabagool sandwich and said it was delicious and filling, and my mom had the grilled cheese. We shared a basket of fries, which was large enough for the three of us. The fries were a bit overdone, but still pretty tasty. We will definitely go back, but would love to see a few more vegetarian options next time.“

“Top notch experience every time. Even our picky kids rave about the ramen! If you haven’t tried this gem yet, you are missing out! We went in on a Saturday night, got seated right away, and the food came out, made to order, in minimal time. We even got seconds on the buns and they came out quick and delicious, made with the freshest ingredients, even right before closing time. Matt and Alex really have this down to a science. “I hadn't been here in a few years. I remember the last time the food was just so so, it might have been a different management at that point. So I was pleasantly surprised with the food. I had the Philly cheese steak and it was absolutely delicious.“

“Our 1st night there got gluten free fish and chips and was amazing! My brother got the regular fish and chips which they cook in a separate fryer and his fish was almost double in size, but I didn't complain because I was happy I could eat. The waitress was extremely knowledgeable about gluten free and allergens. Went back for lunch another day and got a GF chicken sandwich and fries. Bread typical GF crumbly bun so if you have no choice like me you deal. Had to skip the sauce because there was gluten in it, so again, grateful for the waitress being knowledgeable and on top of it to be sure those with allergies are safe. Parking very tough so if you have someone who can't walk distances go during an off time or drop them off and go park somewhere. I would choose this as a regular option due to my dietary restrictions as long as they remain safe. “The cheeseburger was delicious, one of the better ones I have had in a long time! My kids are picky eaters, but enjoyed the chicken basket and fries. Be prepared to be ripped off of course, but at least everything tasted good. Is conveniently located at salty brine beach!“

Ordered a chicken parm calzone and it tasted as good as the calzones from my old favorite pizza place (Pier Pizza CO, which has sadly gone out of business), and I mean that as a very good thing! .
