“Very disappointed. My husband says try again on a weekend day. Went Monday 4pm. Food was terrible. Fish was completely dried out. Shrimp cocktail was slimy and sour. Good service. Lovely view. However won't be back“

“Friends and I met here, Sunday of Labor Day weekend. They’d already been another time and were excited to try the dinner menu. Because of the timing and the slight passing sprinkle, we were seated quickly on the rail outside. We decided to order some apps to share and after eating them, ordered entrees. In addition to loving the calamari, we enjoyed the crudo so much that we ordered another serving. Both couples shared burgers which were excellent. The cucumber salad was good but I won’t be dreaming about it the same way I will be all the seafood items we ordered. We finished up the evening with ice cream cones. I didn’t try any of the cocktails as the friends I was with are wine drinkers and had ordered a bottle before I arrived. The plastic cutlery and glassware weren’t ideal but I can understand how this is a challenge for them given their location and setup. Will definitely be back soon!“

“I took my wife there today for lunch for the first time. We made the 30-minute trek and we were not disappointed. I had Bluto's Chicken Sandwich and my wife had the Chickpea Wrap. OUTSTANDING! I would recommend to anyone looking for a good Vegan spot 👍“

Mission burger, has accomplished this for me. As a chef and person that has worked 35 years in the industry, I am extremely grateful for the burger I had last night. My wife had the hot dogs and they were amazing as well.

“If you’re coming to visit Newport and haven’t heard of Jo’s, it’s because it’s a hidden gem! Amazing local farm-to-table options that keep us and those who visit us asking to go back to that one place in Newport, I really loved! The service to guests with one or more allergies was superb! The chef personally came to our table on each visit to discuss what meals were safe to order. I have multiple allergies, so sometimes they would have made me my own off-the-menu special dish. “Ramen is good - good flavor but not too rich. Fresh vegetables are used, though the meat was a little dry the day I visited.

The pork buns are a hit. New Wave prepares their version, different, but well packed with meat and toppings and asian sauce.

Pricy if one is price sensitive, but a good stop for ramen.

Plenty of seating indoors and a few tables outside. Be mindful of the hours of operation as they are not standard.“

The lobster is cooked perfectly and bun so soft yet toasted and buttered just the right amount... Been in Newport for 2 days and already had it twice... “I order here for my lunch break pretty often. Front staff is always polite, but who's working in the kitchen for the day makes a big difference in how my order will come out. I like to add extra toppings to my order, happy to pay extra for them, but sometimes I'll get next to nothing or it not included at all. Disappointing when I'm trying to treat myself and my coworker to a special lunch and the order doesn't come out how we placed it. Of course they don't mind remaking it for us, but it can be hard when I'm at work and don't have the time to go back.“
