“Service here was great. Parking lot is a bit small so just keep that in mind. For the most part the food was good and portion sizes were normal. The spring rolls were really good but a little burnt. The weird thing is you have to pay for sauce. Other restaurants give you a ton of soy sauce/duck sauce but this place you have to pay for it. I didn't give 5 starts because I'm wanted the sauce from the shrimp and broccoli to have more flavor and be a bit thicker. Otherwise it was good food.“

“I have been a customer of Lamei for over 6 years now. I go here at least once a week…sometimes I’m here multiple days in a row lol. Everything about Lamei is great. The parking is top notch, the staff is amazing and I’ve really gotten to know them over the years. I love learning about their culture and they are such great people. The food has ALWAYS been consistent in top quality. The sauce bar is amazing, the tomato broth is my favorite! Anyone that doesn’t like Lamei either is uneducated about Hot Pot or doesn’t realize that you have to pay for quality ingredients. You don’t get good quality at a buffet, you get scraps and leftovers. I have never liked all you can eat hot pot from other places and have gotten sick many of times eating at other hotpot restaurants in RI. Lamei is hands down the best spot in RI.“

“Now that Silver Crystal has closed, this is to my knowledge the only place for Dim Sum in little Rhody. The food is authentic and delicious. If you were a customer at the aforementioned SC, this menu is almost identical, down to the names of dishes. Several years ago, i believe they changed ownership, and I was happy to see them keep the food unchanged. Service for me has always been prompt and attentive. Some of my favorites are the dry beef chow fun, yang chow fried rice, baby bok choy with garlic, and beef brisket wonton noodle soup.“

Now for pho lovers you know what the real noodle soup consist of! This is just not it trust me! The soup is like package ramen noodle soup with very thin noodles and beef that were meant for stir frying coated with corn starch! Real pho and real noodle soup consist of fresh 8 hour simmered broth and fresh bone and meat. They shouldn't even try to offer that leave it alone or serve Chinese noodles soup and not Vietnamese. The food got here in less than 45 minutes and the delivery driver and person who answered the phone were very nice. Good service always tells me the food is going to be good and it is!
