“It would have been 5 stars if the broccoli wasn't cold and tasted like the walk in. The pizza my buddy got was absolutely 5 stars. Cooked amazingly. Great staff, and attentive ! The steak was ordered med. Well, I'd say it was medium at the least.mashed potatoes were good with a good gravy. Ill be back for sure, just wish the cooks could get it a little bit more right sometimes.“

“We stumbled across this place tonight without realizing it was entirely Vegan. We're not Vegan ourselves, but our daughter is, so we eat a lot of Vegan cuisine. I ordered a zucchini "steak" dish that sounded unique, and my hubby got the country "chicken." Both were extraordinary - the best meal either of us has had since we moved to RI (and we've had some great meals). The food was honestly bursting with flavor, and the quantity was just right. The service was perfect, too, attentive without being intrusive. We debated getting dessert, since the dinner flavor left such a satisfying taste behind, but we couldn't resist the gluten-free chocolate brownie. It came with raspberries on top and a trickle of raspberry sauce, in a combination that was again perfect - crispy edges, a gooey center, sweet and rich but not too much so, with the raspberry flavor offsetting the chocolate in a way I've never tasted in my entire not-particularly-young life. It was so, so good, and to my surprise, it blended well with the dinner flavors. I've been sitting here all evening enjoying the last remnants of the taste, reluctant to go brush my teeth, and I thought I should take a moment to leave a review on the various sites. We will absolutely be return customers, and we can't recommend this restaurant enough!“

“Rasa is a wonderful restaurant for a date night, family dinner or even dining for one. The flavors are out of this world, they can accommodate dietary and their customer service is wonderful. “If you are looking for affordable, tasty food and great portions? This is the spot! I walked in and was immediately greeted by the man behind the counter. I had a lot of questions and he answered them kindly and informed about so many items on the menu. There is an option for everybody! They have a good amount of high chairs where you can sit and eat. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai; it was fresh, hot and had a nice kick to it. For a drink, I ordered the strawberry passion fruit slush with lychee jelly. So good! I cannot wait to return!“

“One of my favorite restaurants on “The Hill”. The dining experience at Massimo is always a 5 star experience. Yesterday afternoon we had Janelle as our server and she was superb- it made it a 5 star PLUS visit. Blood orange Cosmos, eggplant appetizer, chicken parm, pistachio cannoli, tiramisu- all excellent. “I have heard so many great things about Anthony’s so I had taken my wife there for Mother’s day. When we walked into Anthony’s we were taken away with its cozy atmosphere. The waitstaff was very friendly and made me feel like we were at home. The drinks were on point. The appetizers were so incredible, delicious. Our entree’s were delicious and delectable. “This is my second time at Cork & Rye, and they did not disappoint! The strawberry sangria was tasty and refreshing, and the jerk chicken was seasoned well and cooked just right. The portions were satisfying and I was able to bring home leftovers. I also appreciated how accommodating they were, especially since they were able to accommodate our party of 8 outside with little notice. Overall, another great experience and I’d definitely come back!“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

“We had not been to The Shanty in years, but are so happy we decided to go back. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. Karen was the ultimate professional. The TV dinner was absolutely amazing and my son had the summer pasta, which was fresh and delicious. Maybe the highlight of the night was the Snickerdoodle Ice Cream Sandwich which was easily shared by three. Honestly, I can't wait to go back.“

“This is the best ramen restaurant in the east coast in my opinion. I've tried many ramens from cheap to expensive and went to Japan to try the authentic ones. Pickerel is a whole new level of flavor experience. The chef really elevated ramen to the next level and every week they offer different flavors. So, there's always something for everyone. The first ramen I tried was a yuzu chicken broth ramen which felt like my mom's hug. It had the most amazing broth that was so clear, delicate and refreshing which I never experienced in any restaurant in the USA. They offer drinks that pair well with ramen especially wine. I never thought wine would work with ramen, but somehow they did it.

They do spontaneous closing here and there. So, if you're planning to go there, make sure to check their instagram for any post. It's first come, first serve. Usually people line up when they open. If you come around dinner time 6pm or so, you'll probably have to wait at least 30-60 min depending on the day. The inside seating is not suitable for large party ~ max 4 people.“

“I was there doing utility work and I was offered a free lunch. These people are kind and their food is great.!“

“After an incredibly hot visit to the Roger Williams Park Zoo, I was craving something salty and satisfying on a spiritual level. With that in mind, there's nothing else I could imagine other than a hot bowl of ramen.

Located about 1.7 miles or a 7min drive away, I was excited. Upon pulling up to the front of the building, you can drive slightly further down SE and park in the small lot with several spots.

I actually don't remember anything about the interior to comment much. I was laser focused on getting food in my tummy.

We ordered;

Tan Tan Men ; a bowl of ramen with spicy pork miso broth. this absolutely hit the spot. it was deliciously salty and full of umami, and the toppings were just right, and I inhaled it in minutes

Fried Calamari ; another excellent dish. the calamari was nice and crispy and the meat was tender. couldn't have been done any better. the mango chili puree sauce was also very good and something I haven't had before

Tako Yaki ; I'm not sure if I need to say anything about this. it's about as yummy and expected of a properly-done tako yaki as you would expect

Karaage ; this one was actually pretty upsetting with how bad it was. the chicken seemed like it was very overcooked - the skin was hard and crunchy instead of crispy, the meat was not juicy, and honestly the portions of these chicken bites were pitiful. I even sent a snap to a friend and she felt bad for me. the flavor was also immensely salty. it came with spicy mayo (which was actually spicy! that never happens!) and a tonkatsu sauce, but honestly I was desperately in need of something sweet like ketchup or honey. Wife and I ate a total of 3 pieces.

Our waiter was very apologetic and asked multiple times if we wanted it re-done or if we wanted something else, but we were already pretty content by the time we could air our complaints. To my satisfaction, he removed the karaage from the bill.

Despite the miss, the customer service and the quality of the other foods makes it easy for me to still give the place full stars.“
