“Last night, May 5th, my fiancé and I celebrated our engagement at The Capital Grille in Providence, and I truly cannot put into words how special the entire staff made us feel.

We had no reservations and decided to walk in after my proposal because the restaurant was across from our hotel. From the second we walked in, the experience was absolutely exceptional.

Our hostess, Jada, was incredibly sweet and welcoming. When she asked if we were celebrating anything special and I shared that we had just gotten engaged moments before, she immediately made us feel celebrated and cared for. When she brought us to our table, it was beautifully decorated with heart confetti and a handwritten congratulatory note. Such a thoughtful touch that instantly made the night even more magical.

Our server, Alex, was AMAZING. Truly one of the best servers we have ever had. He was attentive, kind, professional, outgoing, and made our entire experience feel warm and personal. Every recommendation was wonderful, the service was flawless, and he genuinely made our night feel extra special.

Then the manager, Danielle, came to our table to personally congratulate us. She had such a beautiful energy and made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. She told us if we needed absolutely anything, to let her know. That small moment meant so much to us because she genuinely did not have to go out of her way to make us feel celebrated, but she did, and it made a lasting impression.

The food and drinks were phenomenal from beginning to end. Everything was delicious. But what truly touched us was how the night kept getting sweeter. At the end of dinner, we were surprised with a complimentary dessert that said “Congratulations” and it was incredible. Even as people who normally don’t like cheesecake, we both loved it. And just when we thought the surprises were over, Alex came back with a bottle of champagne and two glasses as a gift to celebrate our engagement.

The level of hospitality, kindness, and genuine care we experienced at The Capital Grille was beyond anything we expected. They turned an already unforgettable night into an even more beautiful memory we will cherish forever.

I've had one of the best steaks I've had in years.....I'm a former chef and as a chef I look for all aspects in a restaurant...My wife recommended Fleming's due to the fact that she went there in Florida...we had the most attentive waitress by the name of Jocelyn. I'll never forget her. plus the rest of the staff will also so attentive. I really appreciate that you rarely find that in restaurants nowadays...I will be back....FIVE STARS IN MY OPINION“

“Not a complaint at the Longhonr steak house son Jay ,Grandson Richard,and great grandson Mason treated me to a a great Ribeye dinner in Seekonk Ma. The place was filled but somehow we got in within the a 3 min wait and the food was super as usual thank you guys for the nice Mother’s Day afternoon !!!.“

“Texas Roadhouse offers one of the best steak deals in the area. I had the prime rib, which is available seven nights a week, and it was excellent. The crust was perfect and the temperature was spot on.

Everything else on the plate was very good, and the service was fast, friendly, and efficient. My only minor complaint was the gravy, which tasted a bit processed compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, a great value and a place I would happily return to.“

From food to service, their consistent excellence makes each experience exactly what you are looking for in an upscale restaurant. The filet was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. The added sides and accompanying sauces were equally enjoyable. Our server, Steven, was personable, attentive without hovering, allowing us to enjoy our dinner conversation. He made sure that we had finished our salad before bringing out the main course so we could savor each at our leisure. The main course arrived at our table within minutes after he cleared the salad, all items were hot and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend Fred & Steve's for a premiere dining experience.“
