“I’ve always loved Blackie’s as a restaurant, but hosting my husband’s surprise 60th birthday party there made me appreciate it even more. Everything about the event was absolutely wonderful. The private room was beautiful and decorated so nicely, creating the perfect atmosphere for such a special celebration. It was the perfect mingling space where everyone could comfortably move around, socialize, and enjoy the party together. The food was delicious with beautiful presentation, and there was more than enough for everyone. Our guests kept commenting on how great everything was. The staff was attentive, professional, and helped make the entire event feel seamless and stress free. I highly recommend Blackie’s not only for dinner, but also for special events and celebrations. It was truly a memorable experience for our family and friends. A special thank you to Jeanine for all of her help in making the evening so perfect and memorable.“

“This place never lets me down. It’s just like the slogan says- always the real deal. The seasonal specials keep it fresh and my favorites are always on the menu too. The Horeshoe Ale is cold and goes down easy. I have some friends who are a lot “pickier” than I am, when it’s time to choose a restaurant. None of them ever say “no” to the Nines.“

“Had dinner at the Roast House in blackstone. I ordered the prime rib sandwich with lettuce and sautéed onions with a side order of rice pilaf and it was the most amazing plate. Absolutely delicious and our server Samantha was incredibly knowledgeable with a humorous demeanor… If you are in the area, I highly recommend this hidden gem and ask for Samantha as your server .“

“That was a sweetheart thing that was done for me when one of the waitresses did for me when my blood sugar was too low and I was offered a breakfast as that waitress offered to pay for it as I felt awful and cheap. I want to know if the menu has sweet potato benedict on the menu as they all should it is so much healthier for all of us! I can't up load my picture but could wish all waitresses all a very Happy Easter as He is Risen!“

“Went to The Moonlight Cafe in Faversham on Thursday 2nd May with my friend for the first time was amazing food with a lovely atmosphere, the staff were great too when ordering food and when the food came they checked in to see if everything was okey with the food we had , 100% will go there again as was a great place to go as well as prices being very good“

“Went on Easter Sunday, 4/5/26 haven't been if a few months, what a HUGE difference from last time I stopped in. The restaurant was full had to wait a few minutes for a table. We were greeted and waited on quickly. The food came out fast and hot...must of got some new kitchen help since the last time I went, I couldn't believe the promptness and quality of my breakfast. The food here is EXCELLENT, at least it was today, I will go back again and hopefully there is consistency.“

“Quite possibly the best meal I’ve ever had, in or outside of a restaurant. I had one of the specials, a Portuguese-style steak, which was cooked perfectly medium-rare. Juicy, smothered in a delectable sauce. The portion was incredible for the price. The service was perfectly paced, the staff were attentive and friendly. I will be coming back, and inviting everyone I can!“
