“I have been dining at Wood River Golf for over 10 years maybe even closer to 20 they have had their ups and downs especially during "C". Dinner this past Saturday night was fabulous. Their chicken parmesan is still the best around. I can say with confidence I have never had a bad meal there. Prime rib Saturday was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend! I know everyone has been struggling to find good help but thank the Lord they have a strong family support system and a wonderful bartender who has always been loyal.“

“Today, 3 of us had lunch at your restaurant. Our server Valerie was great and the food was delicious. We’ve just experienced a devastating fire at our apartment complex a little over a week ago and some of us lost everything. We’ve been staying in a nearby hotel as massive repairs are in the works. When Valerie came with our check, she asked if we wanted to buy a raffle ticket to which we explained our situation. As we were getting ready to pay our bill, Valerie came over and said our lunch was on them. We couldn’t believe it. “Had a lifelong friend’s 50th birthday party at Pooch’s Pour House last night and we couldn’t have been happier! They were super accommodating as they held the upstairs room for our gathering which was a great space for 25+ people. The food, drinks and staff were phenomenal. The setup and decor was also very cool with lots of past and present sports memorabilia and the overall atmosphere would rival any top bar/pub in Boston!“

“Had never been to the Brazen Hen before last Sunday and I realized I've been telling everyone who will listen how great my lunch was for the past week, so I figured maybe I should actually tell the Brazen Hen how much I liked it, too. I had the seared scallops (it's an appetizer but that's what I wanted for lunch) and it came with like a garlic spinach (excellent), but the scallops were perfect. They were buttery, not one bit of grit, and served with balsamic vinegar. Absolutely perfect, 11/10 would order again. Had the key lime pie for dessert and that, too, was amazing. Our waiter was doing double duty as bartender and he was super friendly and attentive and service was fast! What a perfect little spot for a Sunday afternoon date. We don't go to Westerly often but we will certainly be back. Loved it!“
