Nana's Ice Cream and Gelato was a stop for the 6th Annual Search for the Best Scoop Shop RI with RI Food Fights. Nana's Ice Cream and Gelato is located in Pier Market Place and across from Narragansett Town Beach. There are options for ice cream, gelato, and soft serve. I had their cannoli gelato and it was absolutely wonderful. There are pieces of mini chocolate chips and cannoli shell pieces. It really tasted like I was eating a cannoli. Was too excited to eat my ice cream so a picture didn’t happen BUT, you can count in Nanas for the best ice cream in Gansett especially if you have a dairy allergy like me! Lots of vegan flavors!!!!

Good gelato. Open till 11pm. Only place around. Parking is confusing but spaces are available. Six chairs to sit outside face parking lot. $7 two scoops of gelato. Waffle bowl $1.25. $8.25 for two scoops and waffle bowl. Scoops were good size. Fast service. Young friendly staff. Pistachio light flavor. Cannoli flavor initially good light also. Nutella flavor a must. Espresso more maple than espresso. Should be stronger.
