Although there were lots of places to enjoy an afternoon tea in Newport, I chose One Bellevue basically because it was in the hotel where we were staying. It seemed really understaffed. There were only 6 couples dining, yet we had to wait 15 minutes before being eeorted to our table (which sat on top of a heating vent. We did not mind it today since it was cold and gloomy out, but would have been very uncomfortable if it was sunny). Eventually it did become unbearable hot. Like...read full review
I attended a Galentine’s Day tea here. The atmosphere was relaxed & each table was beautifully arranged. The food & tea were both delicious & the complimentary valet was convenient. As far as service, I felt a little neglected as I noticed that other tables were offered milk for their tea & another glass of wine. I wasn’t offered either. The service team, however, was nice.

We brought our family to Easter brunch and the experience was very disappointing. There was only one waitstaff for the room. We had to ask several times for drinks and coffee and finally go get our own at the bar. The food was average, but definitely not worth the $90/plate charged.
