So surprised there aren't reviews here yet. Ate here for the first time today and the food was delicious! Everything was really good and we got so much food for not that much money. Née favorite spot in NP!
finally a place nearby where you can get amazing dominican, caribbean food and don't have to go all the way to broad st. And besides, the ones on broad st. have the food sitting there for a while like cafeteria style, whereas Casa del sabor cooks it fresh. Sometimes they run out of stuff so its best to come for the 8 or 10$ lunch specials which serves plenty of food. the pastelitos are huge too. we've already been many times and its always delicious.

Delicious Dominican breakfast, their select cut pork chops are very flavorful, fried cheese and yuca is Bomba! The chicken "trifongo" (mashed sweet plantains, yucca & green plantains), the grilled chicken was phenomenal. (Dang! I'm getting hungry writing this, haha)
