“Had this place on my must-try list for a while now and finally got a chance to check them out today.

Whenever I go to any Jamaican restaurant, the first thing I ask for is jerk pork - my favorite Jamaican meal. Alas, like so many other Jamaican restaurants, they did not have any, so I ordered my fallback meal - a large jerk chicken with rice and peas and cabbage ($20).

I’m happy to report that they serve Caribbean portion sizes here, which means that my meal was big enough for two fully-grown adults. The chicken was well-seasoned and came in chopped chunks - the proper way to serve jerk. I absolutely hate when places try to pass off whole pieces of chicken as jerk. All Caribbean people know this is not the way true jerk is served.

The rice and peas was freshly made and moist. Nothing is worse than being served old, dry rice and peas. The cabbage was also well done and tasty.

All in all, I enjoyed my meal here and would return to try more of their menu items.“
