“Let me tell you something! I was having a bad day. I hadn't had Roti with stewed curry goat, rice, beans and sweet plantain in almost a year. I saw the 4.1 rating so I almost did not go to this restaurant. How I would have regretted that decision. The food brought me to tears. Comfort at its finest. Absolutely delicious! The coconut pound cake had the perfect consistency and balance in sweetness. The portion size was amazing. Enough to share. I will be back. The women working up front are the sweetest. Just because someone has a serious face doesn't mean they are not a kind, caring and beautiful soul. Keep it up The Well! I also met the sweetest you men, Ringo in college at BSU he is taking up finance. He will make it far in his career. Always enjoy the now and people you meet.“
“The Veggie Patty and the Go green smoothie with vanilla protein powder is delicious!! A great post workout meal after playing Pickleball! Highly recommended! Shout out to Dee! Thanks for recommending the Veggie Patty! I will visit again! :)“
“Exactly what I needed on this dreary day, to make me wish I was on an island in the Caribbean.. Jerk chicken, rice & peas, a beef patty with cheese & cocoa bread, and possibly the best Mac & cheese I've ever had, all amazing and reasonably priced.. Great meal to watch the final round of the Masters!“
“It is ZERO frills and you'd be better off if you speak Haitian Creole. Communicating was difficult but I said rice and beans? And she said chicken or turkey. I ordered chicken with rice and beans and she disappeared behind the curtain. Reviewers complained that it took 20 minutes and mine might have, but I viewed that as cooked fresh. When I got home and opened the container there was a lot of food. I asked if it was gluten free (which my wife requires) but I'm not sure we connected on that. My wife and I shared it. Rice and beans done right. And well seasoned moist chicken with lettuce and a fresh tomato slice. I thought the fried things were plantains but maybe is was tasso. It came with some sauce on the side which might have been the highlight but my wife said it tasted very spicy so I just passed. I enjoyed it for a change and although not fancy it tasted fresh and I felt like I shared authentic food. I'll definately go back and try other things after I brush up on my Creole.“
“Excellent all around. The salad was a bit more ordinary, but the kale salad was really nice with a mix of flavors and hearty greens. The jerk chicken was moist and tender, and nicely seasoned. The chipotle chicken might even be better! Small flavorful tender bits all around. The mac and cheese was a bit lacking - with there was more cheese flavor to go around. The beans and rice was delicious. The nicest might have been the plantains; they were really not too sugary, but had a nice sheen on the outside and cooked beautifully. So good!“
“From a half-Filipino missing a taste of home, thank goodness for this place! One of very few authentic Filipino restaurants in the greater Boston area. The food is delicious, portions are large, and the service could not have been friendlier. There’s something for everyone here! Definitely stop by if you’re in the neighborhood, and totally worth the drive if you’ve never had Filipino food before!“
“It is carry out or delivery only. The food was so so good, fresh and so fragrant. Beef patty was probably best I’ve ever had. Curry chicken had a nice savory gravy. Jerk chicken was also amazing, overall one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Boston. 10/10 would definitely go again“
“It's official, I've found the best Jamaican restaurant. It's an all day Saturday outing with the family & It's time to eat. A friend mentioned to me that there was a new Jamaican restaurant in Brockton & I do not frequent Jamaican restaurants but my sister wanted to try it, so we did.We got Rice&peas, Mac & Cheese, Chili spicy wings, Snapper, King Fish, veggie pattie, saltfish balls.Listen, I was waiting for a complaint from mom & all I saw was an empty plate. We were waiting for a greasy fish ball but No, chef is on point. Lots of flavor and no grease. Food is not overly spicy but if you don't want spicy, make it known. The gentleman at the counter are pleasant and a whole vibe. The restaurant is very clean. Parking lot is a little small but service was fast so spots open up quickly.I am definitely returning in hopes of eating in the restaurant as we did to go orders this time. I am so impressed!“
“Def not the best jerk chicken I've ever had, but I got it pulled and close to closing so I can't take away too much praise. The ambiance was great; they have great branding and the staff is excellent. Just a lot of boxes taking up a quarter of the resturant and one table completely taken up with a laptop and other miscellaneous personal items. They are brand new so I'm sure in time it'll change.Either way, service was amazing.Rice, amazingPlantains, amazingJerk chicken, tasted like store baught jerk sauce.Definitely recommend tho as their prices are fair and they give a lot of food per order.Parking: You won't ever have trouble finding parking“
