“Came here for the oxtail, was not disappointed! I do wish it had more meat on it but it was so flavorful and well seasoned. Perfectly paired with rice and beans &pikliz & plantains. The food was so fresh and smelled delicious. The place was a little hard to find but just look at the numbers on the door. Parking wasn’t bad.“

“The empanadas are amazing especially the chicken. So much flavor packes inside. They really give you a lot of meat in the empanada. The spicy tropical margarita drink, so sweet you just a hint of spice. But the Plantano sushi, it's a surprise. Hands down the best combination. You get great live music, it's a vibe.“

“It's hard to find the words to describe the experience of eating at Comfort Kitchen... they are a game-changer for the restaurant experience. Their food is familiar and comforting while still feeling new and fresh. We are frequent brunch-goers here (the pepper stew is — WOW), and we have eaten here a number of times for special occasions with friends and even for a company meal for 10. The service is consistently thoughtful, no matter how big the table.

“In the heart of Boston, you can find this amazing Haitian restaurant. The ambiance was wonderful. They had a mix of booths and free-standing tables. They even had a large TV to enjoy the World Cup (Haiti vs Scotland). The dinner time atmosphere appeared as date night, which I loved. The food was mainly Haitian food, but there were other guest appearances (Rasta Pasta, jerk lamb chops, Guyanese fried rice). The food has a nice spice level, nothing overbearing. We had the jerk lamb chops and the griot dinner. Both were fantastic, but the jerk lamb chops were so flavorful, I’ll be ordering that the next time I visit! Enjoy 💕“

“I am of Bajan decent. Today I experienced the goat and Coucou (sp?). It was so good that I found myself swaying and humming. I almost expected my Bajan grandmother to enter the room and join me. The food was so tasty, comforting and just spicy enough. I also had the opportunity to meet Chester, the owner and Chef. In speaking with him, it is clear to note that he is committed to his community. While recognizing some of the problems, he comes forward offering solutions! “On the outskirts of Downtown Lynn here's a spot that serves tasty authentic Hatian food with good serving sizes. Chicken so good that it slides off the bone!
Pikliz was crunchy and a little spicy to add a kick of flavor. Dish served with generous amounts of sauce. Papaya juice was thickened with too much whipped cream, though. You can't go wrong with the bunun peze (pressed fried plaintains). The atmosphere could use some decoration, and better music choice could be switched to Haitian music to celebrate the culture with pride and set the right vibe. It's a small business/family owned restaurant, so I can overlook some issues and hope they improve over time with listening to the constructive feedback. Street parking is available, and the place is easy to find off the street. Service was friendly and the food was great, so a good experience overall. Merci!

The sandwich is good—not mind-blowing, but definitely tasty. However, the customer service is a bit confusing; I think there’s room for improvement in that area.“

The food is always delicious, I always make sure to order a chicken and waffles (and make sure to ask about the specials because their creativity for their waffles is through the roof!). Throw in some other classic comforts like pulled pork, or creative twists like steak and cheese egg rolls, and you'll find there really is something for everyone! “This is the first time that, I have been there in at least 3 years and the food was good I had the white rice and there Mac and cheese dish and the chicken ? was ok but, it was the Mac and cheese that, I thought ? was very good the service was ok it's a mid to small place and yes they do accept credit cards and it was taken out for me and my family.“

Walked home after sharing a scoop of oreo and cookie dough (sort of sharing, the boy can be a bit stingy when the food is good...) and with a meal each: jerk chicken and stew beef.
