Newport Creamery Reviews
Excellent experience great customer service
great food and prices!!!
staff could be better.
The service is awful. Ordered our drinks and when the waitress came over she asked us if we wanted drinks. I told her we ordered them 15 minutes ago with the guy. She said he was getting ready to leave. A half an hour later he was still there! After an hour our food order came. I had ordered a BLT and fries. I got a half of a BLT and about 10 fries. The Newport Creamery is a beloved establishment that has been delighting customers for years. According to the reviews, the ice cream and sundae selection is truly exceptional, with one customer describing it as deserving "6/5 stars." The service is praised, with a waitress willing to refill a customer's water bottle from the tap. The staff is noted as awesome, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
However, the food menu seems to be a bit hit-or-miss. While one customer found the "meal" side of the menu to be "pretty basic fare," another had a disappointing experience with a Chicken Club that was not cut properly and had soggy bread and fries. On a positive note, one reviewer highlighted that the fish & chips, especially on Fridays, are among the best they've ever had, being crispy and delicious.
Overall, the Newport Creamery appears to be a place where the ice cream and sundaes shine, but the food quality can be inconsistent. Customers enjoy the overall experience, with one noting that it has been a favorite place for family gatherings, especially on Mother's Day.
