“Though I would never call myself a connesour, I am at the very least, an avid consumer of bone-in wings. Before eating at Tribos, I thought I had tried every type of wing imaginable. Little did I know, the greatest chicken I would ever eat could be found in a small restaurant in the city I now call home. Tribos has perfected the wing. Through some flame grilled sorcery, they have created a wing that is crispy on the outside and tender within. Their sauces can be quite hot, but it is not just heat for heats sake: the spiciness of these wings elevates the flavors of citrus and chili to new levels. When I am having a bad day, when I have a cold, when I miss home, or when I just don't feel myself, I always turn to Tribos. I order a dozen, extra hot, wings and by the time I reach the bottom of my plate, all of my sorrows are gone. My sinuses are clear. I feel at home in my new city, my confidence renewed. On the walk home, with a full belly, I call my parents just to say I love you. You're probably thinking there's no way a chicken wing could do all that. Well, if you think it's outrageous, you surely haven't been to Tribos yet. So I urge you to go as soon as possible and to order the hottest chicken you can handle. Tell Jacqui that Clancy sent you. They'll take good care of you.“
“Finally got around to trying out the new Barrington location and it was nothing short of amazing! We got there on a rainy Sat night - called ahead to see if they took reservations but were told no and that there should be no wait. We got there shortly after and were promptly seated and serviced. The new spot is def a few steps up from the old spot - updated, modern and airy. Meaghan was our waitress and was wonderful - as was all the staff. It was outstanding friendly service and efficient all at the same time. We started with the loaded tater tots and the octopus special. The octopus was cooked wonderfully and the tots were a fun appetizer to share - reminds me of my elementary school lunch if I was Richie Rich. But the spotlight goes to our entrees - I got the chicken parm with fresh rigatoni and the pink vodka sauce and he ordered veal parm with fresh bucatini and pink vodka sauce (how unoriginal ). Both were delicious! I love me a good vodka sauce and fresh pasta - my rigatoni was maybe 20 seconds short of being al dente but I'd prefer a tad harder vs soggy floppy pasta. The bucatini however was perfecto! The mister said it was one of the best veal parms he's ever had and that's a tall order to fill! All drinks were creative and tasty! And with how delicious dinner was, we had to get some dessert and they didn't disappoint! We were way too full and took the rest of dessert to go. With the nightmare that is the Washington Bridge debacle - this is a great place to support more locally, you won't be disappointed! No need to go to the Hill for some good Italian (they do serve up Portuguese fare as well) when we've got a great spot in our backyard! With apps, drinks, dinner and dessert - tax + tip was close to $200 but well worth every penny!“
“Two places to explore, the restaurant and the store. We enjoyed both! At the restaurant, hot food that one can place on plates and dine in, or use the takeout containers. We loaded up on meat, feijoada, sausage and chicken. Everything gets weighted at the end. There are plenty of tables and the restaurant is accessible. Street parking was easy. The store is smaller and one can buy brasilian supplies (even clothing) and (what we were looking for) salgadinhos. We enjoyed some hot, made fresh, but took most of the food home to eat later.Everything heated up well.Delicious!!“
“First time trying Portuguese food and I will definitely be back! Quick service, cozy atmosphere and incredibly delicious food. We had bifa a casa, shrimp with lemon and herb sauce and house sangria. The appetizer bread onion oil dip was amazing too.“
“We love this restaurant. Great Portuguese, food and great sangria. I think I have tried everything on the menu and it's impossible to pick a favorite. It's all great. Joe, the owner, is a nice guy and always makes you feel welcome. Truly our favorite restaurant in northern Rhode Island.“
“The Baked Scrod is delicious with French fries and salad with Italian dressing .Marie L is a great waitress always making sure you have everything you need and making sure you're happy with your service and meal. The owner Joe is always at the door to greet you and welcome you for coming here. Nice peaceful and relaxing place to bring a significant other to enjoy a meal. You definitely get more than your monies worth at this place. I will be back that's for sure.“

“What a great place for this Irish girl to have traditional Cape Verdean dinner. Everyone was so welcoming and the food was out of this world. My husband could read the menu in Creole and I got to read it in English. If you like to try traditional means and great drinks This is the place for you“
