“just ordered food from China Gourmet in Signal Hill, Ca.. upon entering the restaurant a young man greeted me with a hello. He was pleasent and welcoming. He took my order of mushroom chicken, mixed vegetables and rice with a two order combo. I had BBQ pork, half and half and jalapeño chicken, with two drinks. Returned home and started to dive in! WOW IT WAS AMAZING! The pork was cooked just right, the chicken was extremely delicious and chow mein was actual chow mein and not Top Ramen noodles substitute. my friend who ordered the mushroom chicken and vegetables couldn't stop eating. I've been to numerous fast Chinese food places and none of them have been as good as this place with the quality of food and the amount given. the price was moderate in today's society of price gouging it was $27 and well worth it. if you enjoy Chinese food and really want to get a bang for your buck as well as and enjoyment of flavors in your mouth go to China Gourmet!”

“LOVE this place. I had a serious birria taco craving and Viva La Birria for sure satisfied that. We ordered ahead and not only was the food piping hot and fresh, it was tasteful, and the staff was so friendly. While she got my items together she was complimenting my lashes and made me feel so pretty! As someone who is shy going into places, this really boosted my mood and had me smiling the rest of the night. We’ve been back plenty of times and won’t go anywhere else for birria tacos!! My husband got the Birria quesadillas and loved them too. I recommend them to everyone!”

Every sandwich she makes is well-prepared, fresh, and exactly how I like it. Plus, whenever I ask for suggestions, she’s always spot on! Gina’s passion for her work makes a huge difference, and I always look forward to my visits when she’s there. Highly recommend!”

“We haven’t been to Town Pizza in yrs. My wife and I came back for a visit. We were hoping to see the owner. But we found out from our waitress that he retired and sold to his niece. Well, we wanted a spinach pie. But, they don’t sell them anymore. Ty to our waitress Robin who suggested the calzones. They were delicious!! We had excellent service. Ty again Robin for the great service.”

“A couple of the dishes were really good - the kofta was so well seasoned and the chicken shawarma plate was great. I would definitely come back just for these dishes.

While the ingredients tasted fresh, I would not recommend the tabbouleh (soupy and oily) or falafel (dry and incredibly salty). The hummus was good, but I would've liked to see the price be more at about $7 for the size versus $9 (about 1.25 cups).

The interior is small and clean. There are some tables/booths inside if you're looking to scarf down your food onsite or a place to sit while you're waiting to-go.

“Went to the Foxes Hill neighborhood in Providence to try out a Morroccan spot, but it ended up being closed. Luckily, right around the corner was Aguardente, which is a Guatamalen & Portuguese tapas restaurant. Love the interior decorations and warm welcoming vibe. We started with quejo de cabra, rellenitos, & the minha caiparinha. Then we had the batatas fritas, empanadas de pollos, polvo grelhado, & almondegas. Everything from the service to all of the dishes being seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing.”

“I just tried the food for the first time. I had a classic Greek pita (with chicken) and a steak skewer as a side order. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The establishment itself was very clean. This place will definitely be my go-to for Greek food. It’s a great addition to the neighborhood.”

“Loved the scallop roll and fries with GH seasoning. Cross between a barn mi and lobster roll. The bread was perfection warm , soft, buttery on the inside. Right amount of crust on the outside. The scallops were delicious. The seasoning on the fries made them stand out and complemented the roll. Staff were attentive, kind and helpful.”
