“the ice cream is great, cake batter is my favorite. the ONLY reason I wouldn't recommend this place is the del's. I know it's a creamery but they serve del's so it should be good. right? 4 out of 5 times i've gotten watermelon del's there it just tastes like ice. so disappointing. I keep going back because I want to give them another chance. been going there for years. I just wish they would tell us they're out if they're having issues with the machine or something. maybe it's the employees just not making it right. and then it's a pain to complain and get something else or a refund because then you have to stand in line again. 😔“

“This is a great little Latin and Japanese fusion ice cream shop. The fish shaped cones with a treat at the bottom are delicious on their own. I had custard in mine with chocolates ice cream, dulce de leche over the top and covered in coconut. Absolutely delicious! My foodie friend introduced me. They definitely enjoyed theirs! Thank you!“

“This place is so cool, it’s on the side of the road. There are tables to sit , they even have couple of coin operated machine rides for the kids. I had a hot fudge sundae ( mine you , this is a small) on scale of 1-10…. It was a solid 10.
Customer service is great too. The young lady working there was so nice . Only bad thing about this place is that they have to close for the winter Nov 3 🍨 🙁“

“Took my toddler here Monday and my only regret with coming here is that we’ve lived in North Smithfield for several years and this was our first time coming! My son (almost 3) loved seeing the cows and trucks that were set up there. We went inside to get a snack and he started having a mini meltdown because he wanted to go back outside. An employee (wish I got her name) came from behind the register and gave him a couple stickers and told me I was doing a great job, which really means a lot when you feel like you’re doing something wrong as a mom. I appreciate that woman more than she realized! 💕 I ordered a cream puff and 2 chocolate chip cookies. When the employee from behind the counter handed me my box she let me know she gave us an extra cookie! The employees really were amazing. My son loved his cookie, and I’ve been dreaming of that cream puff ever since 🤤 we can’t wait to come back and try the ice cream! Great snacks and even greater employees! Thank you for a great day!“

“Sundaes has always been my favorite ice cream shop. Last year I developed an allergy to tree nuts. It is severe. Out of all of the places I have been to eat Sundaes Cranston has gone above and beyond to ensure no exposure to tree nuts. The staff is pleasant and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the training that these employees have been given. Thank you so much. I love still being able to enjoy my favorite ice cream.“

“I always come here a lot because I live nearby. This one time really makes me consider coming back. I paid for 3 different icecreams and received 2. The one I didn’t receive I go ask about it and say I didn’t receive it. The young lady then proceeds to say she already made it and I already received it. I explain to her that I was not the one who she gave it to and I did not receive the icecream. She then says I already made the icecream and implies I am doing it to receive a free icecream. I have enough money to buy icecream and I am here with my kids. I know whether or not my kids are eating icecream. The service is great while paying but the system of saying the number and sometimes not saying the number doesn’t work because people take other icecreams and the people who actually pay for their icecream are accused of being scummy and receive rude service.

EDIT: After the response from owner , I will give this place 4 stars. I love coming here but being accused and given rude service isn’t right because someone else took my icecream. I did receive the icecream from another worker and the lady from the payment system was very nice and icecream is of good quality.“

“I completely understand the other reviews about not feeling welcomed. Same here my first time. Then Ben protested and that motivated me to return & give it a 2nd try. Since I did not get the persons name I will be as specific as I can - today June 6th between 1-2p - I had the best customer service I’ve had in awhile. They had a ponytail and wore glasses & were very delightful. The way they interacted both with just myself but my child. And not just us. The customer service was consistent with every single person who entered or was sitting eating. It felt very personal & reminiscent of going to your local mom & pop ice cream stand. It’s people like them that make small moments like this unforgettable.“
