“Finally ate at Rhody Roots last night and the only thing i’m disappointed at is that we haven’t gone in and tried their food sooner. They were so accommodating, our server was fantastic,and everything we ate was amazing!! 10/10 100% recommend!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!“

“Both service and food was terrific. However, I noticed they have removed the table clothes and left the tables bare. It definitely felt like they have lowered the standards as far as decor is concerned. I actually had to place my cloth napkin over the area of the table i ate on as it was a bit sticky. Otherwise, both the food and service was great!“

“Love Pokeworks Providence, I think I’ve gone every single week at least once since they’ve opened! I think I’ve tried every combination of the menu, and have several Favorites and several custom blended favorite! My only suggestion can I buy the dressings? I would love to use them at home for my own marinades and and not is nearly as special salads!!! Having the dressing would not stop me from coming to Pokeworks at least once a week, but I would feel as if I’m eating healthier at home, and I would love to have a little pokey works in my kitchen! Need someone to test market this idea on? I am the one !!!!!!“

Fresh fish, incredible chef and really kind family run atmosphere. You may need to wait a while because they don’t have a ton of staff, so don’t go when you’re on a schedule. But go every other time. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough for sushi lovers with high expectations.“

“My friend, Scott, took me to Haruki last night for dinner, knowing that I’m OBSESSED with sushi, the same way he is. He insisted that it would be worth the drive from Rochester, MA (my location) to Cranston, raving, “It’s the BEST!” and promising me that I won’t be disappointed. It’s so refreshing to see a place of business full of an entire group of people all working so wonderfully together. “just ordered food from China Gourmet in Signal Hill, Ca.. upon entering the restaurant a young man greeted me with a hello. He was pleasent and welcoming. He took my order of mushroom chicken, mixed vegetables and rice with a two order combo. I had BBQ pork, half and half and jalapeño chicken, with two drinks. Returned home and started to dive in! WOW IT WAS AMAZING! The pork was cooked just right, the chicken was extremely delicious and chow mein was actual chow mein and not Top Ramen noodles substitute. my friend who ordered the mushroom chicken and vegetables couldn't stop eating. I've been to numerous fast Chinese food places and none of them have been as good as this place with the quality of food and the amount given. the price was moderate in today's society of price gouging it was $27 and well worth it. if you enjoy Chinese food and really want to get a bang for your buck as well as and enjoyment of flavors in your mouth go to China Gourmet!“

“When my wife and I looked at the place from the outside, we almost left. But we’re glad we didn’t. The restaurant inside was very nice and comfortable. The music choice was nice. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Our server Winnie was very nice and checked on us frequently. For appetizers The rock crab and gyoza are very good. The crab Rangoon is one of the best we’ve had. For lunch I ordered 3 maki rolls that were good. My wife got the bento box which had a big portion for a lunch. All together the bill was $50 which is really cheap for the amount of food we ordered. Will definitely be coming back.“

I got a shrimp tempura and before Ive had their poke bowls and gyozas… when I tell you I haven’t been able to find a good authentic sushi spot in Rhode Island until now. I had already given them a tip BUT after eating, I had to go back in to give an even bigger tip!!!
I talked to the people as well and they’ve been open for 17 years. The people are from Haruki. They are really such good and genuine people and you can tell they make their food with love.

“When its good, none can compare. Literally been going here since day one and have witnessed its evolution from small and quaint to large and modern. Always have a great experience sitting at the bar...food is always on point, hot, fesh. Take out has been hit or miss and they do not pay attention to any adjustments like extra sauce...you have to be emphatic. I've had some wonky chicken here...don't know what it is but sometimes the texture is off...same with beef. Its hard to explain. Great chicken basil, Generals chicken, specify white meat, crispy pork, dumplings, tempura. I really like the establishment, and Jackie, the bartender is truly amazing, (she comes from a family of restrauntaurs). It can range from a 3-5 star experience.“

“This is the first time I have ordered food from here. It was delicious. I got beef and broccoli, chow mein ,pork fried rice, chow mein sandwich, Boneless spareribs. Every thing was delicious usually I am a picky person and I could always find fault on somebody’s food when I say it was delicious not one complaint.
