“Clarke Cooke House in Newport, Rhode Island, is a popular spot, especially on weekends in the summer, so reservations are a must. I visited with a group of five on a Saturday in August, and it was packed. I ordered the mussels in a white wine garlic sauce, which were delicious, paired with the petite frites. However, my mother-in-law had a less-than-ideal experience with the salmon toast; they were out of cream cheese and charged her extra to substitute grilled onions, which didn't go over well. The rest of the group enjoyed their meals. While the prices are on the higher side, it’s expected for Newport. The location is fantastic, but the interior is a bit tight, especially during busy times. Overall, it's a nice spot to visit, just be prepared for some trade-offs.“

“Mori Sushi is a wonderful experience. Chef Choi and Kim are warm and welcoming. The staff is very attentive. The sushi and sashimi dishes are works of art. The quality of the food is the best. We love going there and are delighted they have greater dining capacity to share their talent! Congratulations on the new location up in Bellevue Gardens! See you again soon!“

“Well yesterday i went there for the 4th time in my life and i had horrible food poisoning from either the seaweed or the sushi, i could´t even sleep because i was in agony but i will definitely come back just because the tempura cheescake is totally worth it.“

“My wife and I had a pleasant dinner at Mizu Japanese Steak House in Newport, RI. The casual ambiance and clean environment made it a comfortable spot for a relaxed meal. We were seated right away, and the service was prompt and friendly throughout the evening.\n\nWe started with the squid salad, house salad, and miso soup. My wife particularly enjoyed the squid salad, while the house salad and miso soup were decent but not extraordinary. The shrimp and vegetable tempura were crispy and well-cooked, and the unagi sushi rolls were delicious. However, the chicken teriyaki was slightly dry, though the flavorful teriyaki sauce helped elevate the dish.\n\nOverall, it was a nice evening out, offering good food at a reasonable price. I’d definitely recommend it for a casual night out with family or friends.“
