“Today, 3 of us had lunch at your restaurant. Our server Valerie was great and the food was delicious. We’ve just experienced a devastating fire at our apartment complex a little over a week ago and some of us lost everything. We’ve been staying in a nearby hotel as massive repairs are in the works. When Valerie came with our check, she asked if we wanted to buy a raffle ticket to which we explained our situation. As we were getting ready to pay our bill, Valerie came over and said our lunch was on them. We couldn’t believe it. Thank you Valerie and management of the 99 Restaurant in Westerly for your kindness to us!“

“Had a lifelong friend’s 50th birthday party at Pooch’s Pour House last night and we couldn’t have been happier! They were super accommodating as they held the upstairs room for our gathering which was a great space for 25+ people. The food, drinks and staff were phenomenal. The setup and decor was also very cool with lots of past and present sports memorabilia and the overall atmosphere would rival any top bar/pub in Boston!“

“Mixed group of patrons, so you'll definately make friends quickly. Great for live entertainment, even when there is no band! Seriously, A+ live music with a fun and enthusiastic crowd. The bartenders are attentive and a good selection. Lots of fun games, fun people, and the entertainment is primo!“

“We stopped in here once in May 2025 to meet up with friends that live nearby seasonally and told us we had to try one of Lorraine’s Cosmos because nobody due them better. . I’m not typically a martini drinker but I was told to give it a try and it was amazing as was the whole local vibe in the place. Our next trip to the area a month later we came back and I tried her Creamsicle Martini— just as delicious as the Cosmo— along with a quick ham & cheese grinder that was perfectly toasted with shredded lettuce (how I had them growing up)! Fast forward three months to our next visit and a Pumpkin Martini with a DC Supreme Pizza and the fun local bar atmosphere and it was yet another win!! Do yourself a favor and check them out the next time you’re in the area. Close enough to the beach.“

“I have been dining at Wood River Golf for over 10 years maybe even closer to 20 they have had their ups and downs especially during "C". Dinner this past Saturday night was fabulous. Their chicken parmesan is still the best around. I can say with confidence I have never had a bad meal there. Prime rib Saturday was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend! I know everyone has been struggling to find good help but thank the Lord they have a strong family support system and a wonderful bartender who has always been loyal.“

“What a good time! Food was great— we ordered steak egg rolls, buffalo chicken dumplings and a burger— everything was fantastic. We didn’t have a server though. Anytime we needed something I’d have to go up to the bar and ask, not sure if it’s always like this or just the night we went in. Definitely a cozy little spot to check out when visiting Mystic.“
