“While I normally order a turkey burger or chicken philly, in the spirit of the Super Bowl, went back to my first visit and ordered the Garlic Parmesan Cut Wings. Listen, Nothin’ But Wings did not disappoint. My food was HOT, FRESH and fried just right (not to hard not to soft). Perfectly and neatly presented, the sauce and flavoring was plentiful but not soggy. The customer service was impeccable considering my order was a very last minute add on. The only thing I’m mad about is that I didn’t order more because them dere wings didn’t even make it to Super Bowl kickoff.“

“This place is really close to the Gamecocks stadium and South Carolina state fair grounds. So if you don't wanna pay expensive food prices at the stadium or fair this place is for you. I had an amazing experience thanks to our bartender Arnold. He delivered top-tier service from start to finish. He was super friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Every recommendation was spot-on, and the cocktails were perfectly crafted.

What really stood out was his charming and warm personality. Arnold made everyone at the bar feel welcomed and taken care of.

Charleston provides stunning waterfront views, while Columbia is set in a charming vintage train station, evoking a sense of nostalgia. However, I believe there is room for improvement in both locations. In Charleston, greater consistency in the preparation of made-to-order steaks would enhance the dining experience. In Columbia, the service could be improved, as there was a delay in receiving my tea to go, and the waiter did not return.“

“Touchdowns is a fun enough bar. It’s definitely a lot more corporate than the other bars in Five Points, and is lacking in a distinctive personality. With that being said, it is a fun place to stop by and grab a drink, and you can actually taste the liquor in their cocktails, which you can’t say for every bar in the area.

I will also say that their bartender (I’m unsure of his name) does a great job and is always very nice and friendly. A lot of times bartenders come off as very arrogant and seem like they hate their lives, but I love how interactive he is and how he always seems to be having a great time.

All-in-all, I would describe Touchdowns as an average bar with a great bartender!“

“My wife made reservations here for our before Maxwell and Kem concert dinner. The atmosphere is laid back, with great music. We shared the Genesis salad, which was delicious. She had the Lamb chops, sauteed asparagus and Top Tier Mac & Cheese. She shared her asparagus and it tasted great! I dined on the Reef and Beef, which consisted of a 10 oz steak with shrimp in a garlic butter, Top Tier Mac & Cheese, and Glazed carrots. Everything was delicious! “I’ve been looking for a good wing spot since I left Atlanta. This spot is it! The food was fresh and delicious. The portion (and chicken wing) sizes are good as well. The service was friendly and fast. My family will definitely be back again!

“We got a calzone and Stromboli. Both were absolutely delicious. Only complaint is how long it took to wait for our orders. Apple Maps said they were open late at night, Google maps said they were closed. Glad we walked over there to find them open after 1am.“

“I always get to go, so can't really speak to the service so much. They are always friendly and almost always have food waiting for me when I get there. The atmosphere is very lively and can be a bit loud, but it's a bar and has pool tables- so you should already expect that before going in. Not a good place for say, a business meeting- but dinner after work with friends or a younger and lively crowd with good drinks- this is your place. This is a family restaurant, but probably better to only bring kids above say 10-12 and up.

Casual attire, you don't need to dress up too much, but I'd still say it's a good spot for a second or third date or just meeting up with friends to shoot some billiards and have a drink.

The food is amazing. We love the mild tossed wings with bleu cheese on the side; the catfish nuggets are TO DIE FOR, as is the fried okra. The fried pork bites are good but can be a little overseasoned dep on who makes them. They have regular and wing chips that are also very good, and their fried Mozzarella sticks are delicious.

All-in-all, we love to come here about once every 3-4 weeks or when in the mood for some of their specialties. Really hope these guys stick around for a long time because they've become one of our top 5 restaurants in town!“

“Aaliyah and Angie were our attentive servers during a Sunday brunch buffet, and there is really something for everyone at this classy buffet style brunch. Lots of fresh assorted pastries, and Southern comfort foods, but healthy options as well. Meaning you can get fresh biscuits & gravy, chicken & waffles, as well as plenty of vegetarian options.
Tim is the GM and it was very evident he wants the customers to have an outstanding meal and experience. This is truly my favorite brunch in Columbia by a large margin. The price point is great as well, being that it is just high enough to be a value, but not be a “Golden Corral” population. So it’s very tasteful, and my wife and I will bring family and friends here in the future as the offerings change weekly. While I rarely drink, if I did then I would be impressed by their ambitious selection of unique cocktails, or variations of your favorites.
