“The Rhett House Inn was the perfect spot for our family getaway to Beaufort! The historic charm of the property, paired with its ideal location in the heart of the Historic District, made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, with a private veranda that quickly became our favorite place to relax. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious—think Southern classics like biscuits, grits, and eggs—and the homemade desserts in the evening were such a treat. The staff really stood out—they were so friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. We felt truly taken care of. This is such a special place, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!“

“First time at Scratch last night and it was incredible. Had the calamari as an appetizer and the radiatore for dinner. The first radiatore I was served was good but the sauce was liquid so it wasn’t sticking to the pasta. However, after I mentioned this and asked the server if this was expected, she brought the manager/owner over and they had it remade and it was delicious. This is why I will 100% come back as that is excellent customer service! Cannot wait for my next experience“

“I read reviews that looked like this was a law we should try and so glad we did. I love the ambience, the views and the people are great here . They really treat you kind here . Our food was awesome! I had the catfish and my husband had the flounder , both were awesome and we both had fried shrimp. The cornbread is a nice touch when you sit down. You won’t be disappointed in this place.“

“Went here over the weekend with my family. My little girl accidentally left her stuffed lion there. The staff put him up and we were able to get him back! Thank you to the staff who noticed him! My little girl is so happy to have him back and says he smells like the ice cream shop! To the person who answered the phone when we called yes the stuff animal is worn but my little girl has had him for 4 years now and still very attached 😂😂😂 Thank y’all so much!“

“If you're ever in Beaufort, South Carolina, make sure to stop by Blackstone's Cafe. This cozy spot has some of the best food and service around. I recently tried their chicken salad sandwich and let me tell you - it was incredible. The perfect balance of creamy and crunchy, with just the right amount of seasoning. And don't even get me started on their clam chowder. It was out of this world. I couldn't believe how good it was. But the food isn't the only thing that makes Blackstone's Cafe stand out. The service is top-notch as well. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They truly went above and beyond to make sure my dining experience was enjoyable. This has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Beaufort. Whether I'm looking for a quick bite to eat or a cozy spot for a date night, Blackstone's Cafe always delivers. I highly recommend giving it a try - you won't be disappointed!“

“One of the BEST RESTAURANTS I’ve ever been to!! Make a reservation but plan to eat a lot of yummy food! It’s the best flavored meat I’ve ever had!!! Each time we have friends visit we come here!!! It’s amazing and you will not be disappointed!! Try the burnt Mac & cheese - jalepeno- bacon… and all of the meats, pulled pork, brisket! INCREDIBLE!!! Super reasonable as well! Plenty of room and full bar, but just in case always make a reservation!!!“

“This pizza is great if they took into consideration the customers preferences. Their cheese is kind of gross, in my opinion, but with light cheese we absolutely love this pizza. We are also just not big cheese people so we just order less cheese. But anytime we ask for light cheese, they honestly seem to get angry and give us extra cheese (which wouldn't be as much of a problem if they had a better quality cheese). I mean, we aren't asking for a discount, we just want half the cheese. And the cheese is literally the most expensive part of a pizza usually. The cheese does not cook the same with too much, so trying to pick it off leaves us with half the toppings and undercooked pizza. And the cheese is honestly super low quality so it just ruins the whole pizza and makes it inedible. I don't understand why they won't just do light cheese, it saves them money and ensures a local will come back at least 1-2 times a week. But unfortunately, at this point, we will go elsewhere, because it is a waste of money when we can't eat it with all the disgusting cheese on it. When we hear that they get their customer service in order, we will try it again.“

“Hemingway’s is a great place for locals and tourists. Good food, even better drinks and friendly staff. When we first moved to beaufort they make us so welcome. Try it, you’ll love it. Such great character“

“Had the wings and loaded fries. Wings were as good as any I've had and there were plenty. The loaded fries were piled high and again plenty. Took a good sized to go box home. Service was good and the price was par for the area. I'll be back.“

“Very positive experience. We ate on the outside porch on Friday evening. It was a beautiful nighttime view of the water & park, yet we stayed warm because of the overhead heat lamps. I had the fried pork wontons & my husband had the shrimp burger. Both were excellent. Our server suggested dessert - the fried cheesecake strawberry doughnut. It was so DELICIOUS!!!!!!!“
