“I'm a local and try to eat there at least once a week! I have enjoyed everything I have had there, ribs, BBQ chicken, pork tenderloin, and brisket, but my favorite is their pulled pork BBQ plate with greenbeans and cole slaw, the best ever! But other favorites are the Brunswick stew, sweet potato crunch and their potato salad! And do not miss the Hush Puppies!!! I have never been disappointed with the food or the service!!!“

“Fantastic food and service. Platter gives several good choices and enough food to fill two people and still have leftovers. Probably my favorite place in Spartanburg.“

“Todd from SBHs was the first person to get back to me after I made several catering inquiries online. He called me, personally, later the same day. He took my request over the phone, encouraged me to use his cell phone for any questions, and sent me an estimate within a couple of hours. When I texted with questions or changes, he got back to me within the hour. It was a small party, less than 50, so we picked up the food ourselves and he provided the chafing dishes and Sternos. Food was ready as promised, and it was delicious!! We ordered the brisket, pulled pork and chicken, Mac and cheese and collards. Our guests were very happy and so were we! Thanks, Todd, for the great experience!“

“Great food made by great people. Military Veterans. Wonderful family business that serves up the best bourbon baked beans ever. The homemade fries are also a must taste.Get the brisket as it's absolutely delicious. Chopped chicken available for lighter fare. Homemade sauces of all types. I like mixing the mild and hot. My husband likes the moonshine. Try them all! There is usually a homemade dessert to choose from such as banana pudding or peach cobbler. You can't go wrong with either one.Stop in and give it a try.
Parking: There is plenty f parking right in front of the restaurant and it is an easy short one step into the sidewalk into restaurant.“

“We both got the pulled pork plate with Carolina mustard bbq sauce. I got Mac and cheese and fries as a side and plates come with hush puppies and my husband got fried okra and onion rings. Everything was spectacular!! Oh man! I love how tender the pork was, the sauce was delicious, the ranch was perfection, the fires were seasoned great, the hush puppies were addictive, everything is just amazing !! Very impressed! Will definitely be going back.“

“Had a great pulled pork sandwich. first time customer.. odd though? I watched one of the employees young teenage boy blonde hair pour from a pitcher of water into the fry grease and then turn around and lie to the manager and say he did it by accident when the grease began to boil.? better watch that type of employee close.. he'll either end up burning the place down or taint someone's food.. he laughed thought it was funny and played it off but I watched him with my own eyes do it on purpose.. check your cameras..“
