Service is always amazing, and you're made to feel very welcomed there. Food is great, but I get nachos, so you can't really mess those up. My only complaint is they shred their lettuce into very skinny shreds - thinner than a string - and it somehow impacts the flavor of things. A slightly thicker shred would probably make a positive difference. And, yes, I know I just said that about iceberg lettuce! Overall, I highly recommend Agave.
Great service and friendly people. Clean and nice environment. Have eaten here twice, but neither time did I leave with a great impression with the food, felt just average = 3 stars.

This used to be one of my favorite Mexican places in Charleston around when they first opened. However I’ve noticed in recent years that the food has steadily gone downhill. The food isn’t bad but it’s just not nearly as good as I remember it being.
