“When you walk in, you can tell that this place is a local hangout. And that’s a good sign to me.
The service is friendly and helpful.
I tried the habanero pineapple drink. I was expecting it to be spicier. But I love spice so maybe it’s normal for y’all. I ordered tuna and bang bang, shrimp tacos, and pork belly ( current taco if it sells a daughter gets donated to a charity ), I was pleasantly surprised with my whole meal. It was excellent!
Love, the fact that they give back to charity. They also have trivia night I believe on Tuesdays. They also have taco Tuesday where they have a couple of varieties of their tacos for three dollars apiece.
I would gladly come back to this place and I sure will.“

“What was supposed to be a quick pit stop turned into a memorable part of our trip.

My boyfriend Steve and I were just passing through and stopped at Blanca Empanada in Charleston simply to use the bathroom—but the moment we walked in, we enjoyed more than just the bathroom 😂 . The warm, inviting aroma coming from the kitchen immediately pulled us in, and before we knew it, we were being welcomed by Johnathan, whose kindness made us feel like we had been regulars for years.

We decided to stay (the best decision we made all day) and ordered one of each taco, a lamb neck burrito, and the fresh tres leches. Every single bite was incredible—full of flavor, clearly made with care, and absolutely unforgettable. The lamb neck burrito was rich and tender, the tacos were vibrant and perfectly balanced, and the tres leches was the kind of dessert you think about long after it’s gone.

What started as a quick stop became a moment we’ll both hold onto. Places like this are rare—where the food is amazing, but the people make it even better. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re anywhere near Charleston.“

“We visited tonight and absolutely loved it. The decor is spectacular. Servers really hustle and the food was excellent. Best enchiladas in mole I've ever had. Only 2 recommendations... deeper salsa dishes, and some sound absorbers needed on the ceiling. Was a bit loud, and would be difficult to have a conversation with another couple. “Came here to visit and went to El Pincho Taco. I have to say this out loud (on Google) they have Amazing decorations, ambience, great service, and stunning food presentation. I ordered the paloma (pic attached) and not only was the drink exceptional but the cup that it came in had a character from the game Lotería that is popular in Mexico. The carne asada fries were soooo good and The tacos were out of this world. I loved every second that I was there and totally recommend this restaurant to anybody that is either a local or from out of town. 10/10“

“This is the absolute BEST in CHARLESTON! 🌺 🌊 Me and my family love this place! Great service, food, and environment! It was so great there, I thought the check was going to come back so EXPENSIVE!! But NO, the payment was so quick and small! (No extra fees either) My small family of 3 ate HUGE meals for $30! And it was so good! We HAD TO tip them $40 for all of the good work they did 👏! “Standard Mexican food selection and good service - what you might expect for a Mexican place but nothing more. I believe they’ve got a sewage or some other problem - every now and then, I’d get a wiff of mold/mildew/sewage that was off-putting. Couldn’t really identify it, but something is going on. Hope they can address whatever this is. Otherwise, meets expectations of a generic Mexican restaurant. Would love for them to try to stand out but perhaps good-enough is just that for the value point.“

“I came with my Co-workers we got several different things, first off the vibes is HIGH! Food was outstanding everything was prepared greatly. The flavor, aroma and looks were everything and more. The only negative was that my Co-worker said his dish was proportioned wrong and for me my favorite taco (Al pastor) was ok very well made but the flavor was missing sadly. Other than that honestly the best Mexican restaurant I've been too and I love Mexican! My black video is of the music so you can get that the mood was LIT!“
